I think this tour may be the best way to visit the major tourist attractions in Sapporo. You could take the time to plan the exact same itinerary and do the same trip utilizing public transportation but I think this tour was excellent value for money. You-kun spoke many languages so that most if not all passengers understood what he was explaining. My only negative is an experience unique to me as I had already visited Jozankei prior to the tour and opted to use the recommended Onsen. I have Tattoos and there was very little info online about the onsens policy. When I arrived the onsen said small tattoos were ok if you can cover them, but I have more than one and some were unable to be covered. There is a tattoo friendly onsen a mile away but there is no way to get there in the time allowed. Public Bus is too slow and there are no taxis near by. Again this issue is unique to individuals who have tattoos and most of us are already prepared to be turned away. Hoheikyo-Onsen tattoo ok!

Because there were many of us and we all had cars, we opted for a road trip to the zoo. The zoo was huge, with many animals, unlike the usual walk-throughs. Driving offered a different kind of scenery. We encountered several heavy rainstorms along the way, but thankfully everyone was safe and sound in the car. Seeing tigers and lions in the downpour was quite a unique experience. The second day at the amusement park, we couldn't go on many rides due to the rain. However, if the weather cooperates, we could have had a great time. There's also an indoor area for little ones, which is quite nice.
