We choose the horse carriage ride up, it was €8 a person. It took around 20 minutes and we enjoyed the forest view. Make sure to arrive and park at least an hour early. The entrance time is exact to every 5 minutes for crowd control. The entrance ticket includes an audio set and takes around 30 minutes. You are moved thru the rooms rather quickly. There are free lockers at information at the entrance area if needed. No pictures can be taken during the tour. **not handicapped friendly ** must be able to walk for 2-3 hours and climb up and down many flights of stairs. There are no elevators. We planned to walk down but it began to rain. So we took the horse carriage again -/€4/person.

Füssen is a charming town in southern Germany that is well worth visiting. The town has colorful buildings, quiet streets, and beautiful views of the nearby mountains. I enjoyed walking through the old town, where there were many small cafés, local shops, and historic buildings. The peaceful atmosphere made it a great place to relax after visiting Neuschwanstein Castle. The river and surrounding scenery added to the town’s beauty, making it perfect for taking photos. Overall, Füssen offers a wonderful mix of nature, history, and local culture. It is a great destination for anyone exploring Bavaria, and I would happily visit again because of its relaxing atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

We arrived early in the morning by bus. There were not many people on the bridge. It was a great place to see Neuschwanstein Castle. We took all kinds of photos and the scenery was beautiful. We could still see the bridge on the last balcony of Neuschwanstein Castle. It was built between two mountains and was very beautiful.

You can go around the back of the castle to the lake behind the castle. The lake and mountains in the snow are beautiful. The trail is also hidden in the fallen leaves and snow, which makes people feel that it is great to come here in this season.
