Girona Cathedral
The Cathedral of Girona, located in the heart of the old town, was built in the 11th century in Romanesque style, then changed to Gothic style in the 13th century. Vila Vella is a charming coastal town located on the Mediterranean coast, approx. 100 km north of Barcelona. Tossa is really a very suitable town for vacation. The water is super clear. There are restaurants and hotels along the coastline, and there are many choices.
It is a summer resort. October is their last busy month. Some restaurants and hotels have closed down. Although the outdoor temperature is still over 20 degrees, the water feels super cold when you go in.
The stone town at the end of the beach is the best viewing platform in the town. It is not too tiring to climb up, and there is no extra charge. The view and scenery are good.
