Fort Aguada
Built by the Portuguese in 1612, Fort Aguad is worth visiting among the remaining Portuguese castles in Goa. Nowadays, local Indian tour groups are often encountered here. Basilica of Bom Jesus
Built in 1605, this red-brick cathedral is a typical Baroque building that houses the remains of the great missionary St. Francis in history. The burial chamber of St. Francis is on the right, and the coffin in which the remains are kept is made of sterling silver. Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim
This magnificent white Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim is located in the heart of Panaji. Built in 1514, it is a major landmark in Goa.
