Helengeli, full English name (OBLU by Atmosphere at Helengeli), is a brand-new five-star resort island in the Maldives. It officially opened in November 2015 and is the second resort island created by the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts group in the Maldives, belonging to the same group as Kanifushi. It is not far from Velana International Airport and can be reached by speedboat. The all-inclusive plan is very convenient. The colorful coral reefs surrounding the island and the numerous sharks, lobsters, and sea turtles are its proud highlights. Each villa has been carefully crafted and designed. It also provides guests with a variety of high-quality international food and wine, as well as a series of leisure activities including diving, spa treatments, and excursions, including a tranquil garden spa, dedicated to creating a "first-class" Maldives beach vacation experience for everyone. Helengeli is located within the world-famous diving spot, North Malé Atoll, about 40 km from the Maldives, and you can step onto this resort island in approx. 50 minutes by speedboat. After arriving on the island, you will find that Helengeli not only has a stylish and comfortable design style but also an original ecological island environment. The island is relatively large, and it takes about 1 hour to walk around it. At the end of the island, there is a large sandbank and an uninhabited islet, which are particularly suitable for photography and play. Set against the backdrop of lush tropical vegetation and fine sandy beaches, Helengeli appears even more unique. The colorful coral reefs surrounding the island and the numerous sharks, lobsters, and sea turtles are its proud highlights. After comprehensive development, Helengeli officially opened on November 1, 2015. There are a total of 116 villas on the island, including 22 beach villas, 64 deluxe beach villas, 2 beach pool suites, and 28 lagoon pool villas. Each villa has been carefully crafted and designed, combining a stylish and original natural environment without affecting the ecological environment. In addition, Helengeli also provides guests with a variety of high-quality international food and wine, as well as a series of leisure activities including diving, spa treatments, and excursions, including a tranquil garden spa, dedicated to creating a "first-class" Maldives beach vacation experience for everyone. Helengeli offers great value; the price is the same all year round, whether during the Spring Festival or other holidays; it has a long sandbank and an uninhabited sand island; snorkeling and diving are both good; sunset fishing is included; the style is fresh and minimalist, suitable for honeymoon couples. Disadvantages of the island: The water villas are not traditional overwater villas; like the standard water villas at Lily Beach, they are partially overwater, featuring an infinity pool.

Hulhumale is an artificial island formed by land reclamation. The island is adjacent to Velana International Airport and is connected to the airport island by road; it can also be reached from Malé via a cross-sea bridge, making it an urban island with convenient transportation in the Maldives. Construction of the island began in the late 1990s to alleviate population pressure in the capital, Malé, and it has now developed into a planned new city with residential, commercial, and public facilities. The island's coastal area is a popular spot for tourists, where artificial beaches, shallow waters, and near-shore coral reefs create a leisure space. Some areas are suitable for swimming and snorkeling, where you can observe marine life such as tropical fish and stingrays; there are also water sports facilities along the coast, where you can experience activities like kayaking, jet skiing, and kitesurfing. Beyond the beaches, the island also showcases an urban life that differs from traditional resort islands. Planned neighborhoods, green spaces, parks, restaurants, cafes, and accommodation facilities are distributed throughout, offering both everyday scenes of local life and leisure spaces for tourists. Visitors can stroll through the neighborhoods, experience local dining, or enjoy the sunset in the coastal area. Because it is close to the airport, many tourists use this place as a stopover before or after arriving in or departing from the Maldives.

The view is a bit high but still okay. Two sands and two waters.

For most people this will be their first or last stop in The Maldives, as it is the island on which the airport is located. It is newly reclaimed land and being designed as a kind of "back-up" capital city in case neighboring Male succumbs to rising sea levels. As such, it is a bit of construction site as new hotels, apartments etc are going up all over the place. An okay beach for a quick dip, but gets a bit of floating trash. In any case, it is okay stopover for a night after arriving or before leaving the country.

Because the schedule was tight, I only stayed for one or two days. I will definitely stay longer next time if I have the chance. It was really fun. The yacht to the island was very high-end. There was a fragrant smell in the room. The food on the island is very expensive.

In fact, this is the lowest price in the off-season, and it is often impossible to book a room at this price. Although the hotel room rate is not cheap, the source of customers is still enthusiastic, "I am not afraid of high prices, I am only afraid of poor quality", staying here for a night is really a good experience!

Fuvafen Island is so beautiful, the sea water is as pure as a fairy tale world, and there are different views whether it is sunrise or sunset. You must stay in a water house with a good environment and a separate swimming pool. You can swim in the sea by walking down the stairs. There are very beautiful fish underwater. The three meals on the island are all great, and the service attitude is really good. I still have to go there once if I have the chance.

The company's group travel recommended an all-inclusive island. To be honest, the cost-effectiveness is very high. Adults and children are very satisfied. The island is very close to Male Airport and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the island. The recreational facilities are all available. The restaurant is large and the food is very complete. The staff on the island are very nice and friendly. If it is a family or a group, it is especially recommended to come here. The cost-effectiveness is still OK
