Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Side Victoria Falls, also known as Mosi-oa Tunya Falls, is located on the Zambezi River in Africa, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is one of the three largest waterfalls in the world. It is approximately 1.7 kilometers wide and 108 meters high. In 1855, Scottish explorer David Livingstone became the first European to see Victoria Falls and named it after Queen Victoria. There is only one place to walk with the lions, white lions, now in Zimbabwe....$150 US dollars for 1 hour. We were given 30mins with them. Very expensive. I noticed the male lions ears were eaten away at the top I asked why....guide said they try to put a cream on them but they lick it off. Come on find something better then. This poor male was covered around his face in flys. 3 times a day these lions have to entertain tourists....I feel morning and late afternoon is enough let them rest under the tree in the middle of the day so hot. I wasnt happy that they are taken at 3months to be tourist money traps , which it is, !50.00 way too much . They can never be released again . The ones we saw in the wild that can go were ever they want health wide looked a lot better no flys.

The best beast feast is at Boma in Zimba Falls! Impala impala meat is the most tender, and there are also Kudu kudu, goats, African buffalo, crocodiles, warthogs, guinea fowl, fish... The most special one is Mopani Worm! In southern Africa, Mopani worms, the larvae of the monarch moth, are a popular local snack. It is said that the protein content is higher than beef. There is a restaurant in France that specializes in eating this, but the price of the same thing is very expensive. You can get a "certificate of bravery" immediately after eating it! [Witty] African artists paint animals on the guests' faces during the meal, which is very vivid. There are African and dance performances, and African wizards tell fortunes...
