The Best Spring In The World

The Best Spring In The World is located in downtown Jinan, featuring "one river (the moat), one lake (Daming Lake), three springs (the Baotu Spring, Heihu Spring, and Wulongtan spring clusters), and four parks (Baotu Spring Park, Huancheng Park, Wulongtan Park, and Daming Lake Park)." The attraction centers around Baotu Spring, renowned as the "No. 1 Spring Under Heaven." Its waters flow into rivers and converge into lakes, harmoniously blending with the ancient Mingfu City. To the north lies Wulongtan (Five Dragon Pool), while to the east stretches Jinan's Huancheng Park (home to the Black Tiger Spring and other springs), both highly celebrated in Jinan. These springs boast exceptional water quality. Daming Lake, a natural lake formed by the convergence of numerous springs, receives water from its southern shore. When full, the water flows out through the Northern Water Gate, built during the Song Dynasty on the lake's north shore. The lakebed consists of impermeable igneous rock, preventing flooding during heavy rains or drought. Often described as "a confluence of springs merging to embrace the Jiluo region," it's hailed as the "Pearl of the Spring City." Similarly, the moat formed by spring waters encircles the ancient city like a jade belt, offering scenic cruise rides along its course. The attraction boasts stunning natural scenery and rich cultural heritage, featuring not only springs, rivers, and lakes but also numerous historical landmarks. Highlights include the Chaoran Tower dating back to the Yuan Dynasty and the Luoyuan Hall originally built during the Northern Wei Dynasty (now a Ming-era structure). Historical sites include the Luoshang Terrace, the former residence site of Qin Qiong, and the Beishui Gate. Notable former residences include the Nanfeng Ancestral Hall, Jiaxuan Ancestral Hall, Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall and Yi'an Old Residence, Tiegong Ancestral Hall, and Lao She Memorial Hall. Red tourism sites include the Jinan Massacre Memorial and the former site of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.China · Jinan

Guishan Scenic Area is centered on Han Dynasty history and culture, featuring multiple attractions including the Guishan Han Tomb, the Xuzhou Imperial Decree Museum, and Dianshi Garden. It blends Han culture, imperial examination culture, and stone carving culture. The Guishan Han Tomb is the joint tomb of Liu Zhu, the sixth-generation Prince Xiang of Chu in the Western Han Dynasty, and his wife. Constructed as a mausoleum within the mountain, it was carved directly into the rock, excavating almost the entire mountain. The Xuzhou Imperial Decree Museum features three main thematic exhibitions: "By the Grace of Heaven," "Success in the Imperial Examinations," and "Comprehensive Collection," making it a unique museum dedicated to imperial decrees. Dianshi Garden covers stone carvings, wood carvings, brick carvings, and stone tablets, showcasing the development of Chinese stone carving culture. Each of the three attractions has its own focus. When visiting, it is recommended to first see the Guishan Han Tomb to experience the awe of ancient engineering, then explore the Xuzhou Imperial Decree Museum and Dianshi Garden to savor the cultural relics from different historical periods.China · Xuzhou

The Underwater World is located on the west side of the First Bathing Beach. It is a theme venue that displays the underwater environment and marine life. Here, you can not only see many live marine animals and biological specimens, but also enjoy wonderful underwater performances. It is very suitable for parent-child tours. First, in the Dream Jellyfish Palace, you will see thousands of jellyfish competing with each other for splendor under the reflection of lights. Then you can go to the Seal House to see the cute seals, sea lions and penguins. You can also see sperm whales, swordfish, sea turtles and other marine life specimens in the domestically-rich marine specimen museum. Next, the "Underwater World" museum, which is built entirely underground, will give you a full-scale visual experience of the underwater world. You can stroll through a fully transparent underwater tunnel, feel schools of fish surrounding you, or watch clownfish and other tropical fish swimming around corals through cylindrical exhibition tanks. The live underwater performances in the Ocean Theater are particularly popular. You can enjoy the thrilling "Dancing with Sharks" and the beautiful and dreamy "Mermaid" performance. Sometimes you can also see humorous sketches performed by divers underwater. After learning about marine life, you can go to the Freshwater Museum to visit rare freshwater creatures such as the Arapaima, Chinese sturgeon, and giant salamander, and take a glimpse of these "living fossils." There are multiple exhibition halls in Qingdao Underwater World. The visiting route is one-way and you cannot go back. Enter from the entrance on the south side of Laiyang Road and exit from the north side of Laiyang Road.Recommended route: Jellyfish Palace - Seal Hall - Marine Life Hall - Whale Hall - Underwater World - Freshwater Life Hall (one-way tour, no turning back)China · Qingdao

The natural landscape of the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit offers a magnificent spectacle full of mountains and waters and corresponding views of imposing heights and vast openness. This was my first time visiting Baotu Spring. I went in the afternoon to avoid the crowds, so the experience wasn't too bad. The three springs were bubbling away, and the water was crystal clear. No wonder it's called the City of Springs! 👍

One island, two bays, offering a variety of activities. Dasha Bay boasts a wide, soft beach, perfect for families to play in the sand, swim, and enjoy the water, with well-developed facilities. Suma Bay is quieter, with more reefs and relatively clearer water; the central seaside boardwalk is the highlight, offering panoramic views of the mountains, sea, and reefs—ideal for taking photos on a clear day, and also providing access to the peacock garden.

The scenic area is large and rich in attractions, suitable for family travel for adults and children. The ancient street has a long charm, the drizzle and rainbow are dazzling, and the children's playground is lively. I took the opportunity to go back to my hometown on May Day and took my two nieces and granddaughters. It was a happy time.

A day trip to Qufu: I bought a combined ticket for the three Confucius sites (Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion, and Confucius Cemetery), but only visited the Confucius Temple and Confucius Mansion. The Confucius Temple is definitely worth hiring a guide to listen to a lecture and stroll around at your own pace. The Confucius Museum is very large and beautiful, with a large collection of cultural relics. I recommend starting your trip to Qufu with the Confucius Museum, and then visiting the three Confucius sites. The museum is free; you can just scan your ID card. You can easily spend half a day there.

The boat departs at 9:30 AM. If you arrive early, you can take photos with the Olympic torch. The boat has three decks, and it looks beautiful when the sun shines on the shimmering water. However, it doesn't go very far, there are no seagulls, and it's a bit shaky. Overall, the experience is just average.

📍Xuzhou·Guishan Scenic Area | Step into the Underground Palace of the Chu King Family! A trip to Xuzhou isn't complete without a visit to the Guishan Han Tomb! 😭 I originally went for the "Oriental Pyramid," but I ended up spending half a day there at the Dian Shi Garden and the Imperial Edict Museum! It was so worth it! 🎫 Remember to go as soon as it opens, otherwise, after 9 am, there will be many tour groups, which will greatly diminish your experience.

Overall, the visit to Qingdao Underwater World was a good experience. The park boasts a rich variety of marine life, a well-organized layout of exhibits, and a stunning immersive underwater tunnel, making it suitable for family interaction and science education. However, during holidays, the park can be quite crowded, with some exhibits feeling a bit cramped. In general, as a marine-themed park, its exhibits and experiential design are commendable, and visiting during off-peak hours is recommended for a more comfortable experience.

Huaguo Mountain truly lives up to its reputation as a mythical mountain from Journey to the West! The forests are lush and verdant, and visiting the Water Curtain Cave feels like stepping into a mythical world. Climbing to the top of Jade Maiden Peak offers panoramic views and magnificent scenery. The scenic area has excellent facilities, allowing you to immerse yourself in Journey to the West culture throughout. It's perfect for family trips and well worth the visit. Okay

Standing on the sea-view Yuntaishan Scenic Area, you can see Lian Island and Lianyungang Port, which is a truly magical perspective. Yesterday I was on Lian Island, and today I can overlook it from above. There's a giant wing-shaped sign right outside the bus stop, and a photo spot at the "Sea Eagle" sign. If the sunlight is good, it's incredibly photogenic. There are also directional signs. Seeing this makes me want to sing, "I'm standing in Lianyungang, looking towards Beijing!" Hahaha!
