Vinh Trang Pagoda

Vinh Trang Pagoda was built in the early 19th century and has a history of over 100 years. It is located in My Tho City, not far from Saigon. Vinh Trang Pagoda is one of the local temples, housing the mummified remains of monks from centuries ago. In addition, Buddha statues are enshrined in the halls, and giant statues of Maitreya and Guanyin are located in the courtyard. The name Con Thoi Son also has an ancient house, with typical Southern architecture, with three rooms and two wings, yin-yang tiled roofs, and columns made of precious wood. Inside the house, the decoration is also in the ancient style with a sparkling mother-of-pearl altar cabinet, exquisitely carved sofas, and a pair of tureens carved with parallel sentences painted in red and gilded gold.
