Shinshoji Temple is located in Narita City, not far from Narita Airport. It is one of the few famous temples in Japan where people pray for family safety and the elimination of disasters. The temple mainly enshrines King Fudo, who was consecrated by Daishi Kobo. There are various old and new buildings standing side by side in the large temple. The temple includes the main hall, the Niwangmen, the triple pagoda, the Shakya hall and other buildings. There is also a calligraphy art gallery, a history museum, a Buddhist library, etc., in addition to a park that combines traditional Japanese and European styles. In the temple, you can enjoy cherry blossoms, rattan flowers, hydrangea and other plants in different seasons, and red leaves in autumn. In addition, there are many shops on the pilgrimage road in front of the temple.Narita · 1.1km from downtown

Naritasan Omotesando, which still retains the atmosphere of the Edo period, is lined with shops and has the atmosphere of a mountain hot spring town. There are many tourists and it is very lively. There are still several old shops founded in the Edo period along the side of the road, which condenses the charm of a classic street.Narita · 883m from downtown

Sakurayama Park is found near the Narita Airport slide. There are cherry blossoms that flower twice a year (spring, autumn), and it is well known for the winter cherry blossoms of sannbakawa. If the timing is right, you can see the plane landing right in front of you. The glides lit up at night are beautiful. The park has plenty of shade and benches for visitors to relax.Narita · 4km from downtown

One of Tokyo's oldest and most significant Buddhist temples, Sensō-ji is located in the city's Asakusa District. Dedicated to the Bodhisattva of compassion, the first temple was founded as far back as 645 CE. Destroyed during World War II, Sensō-ji was eventually rebuilt and stands now as a symbol of rebirth and peace. Many small shops line the main street approaching the temple. It is a popular area for tourists and among the more well-known parts of Tokyo. Each spring a grand festival is held in and around Sensō-ji. Over the course of a few days upwards of 2 million people visit the temple complex.Tokyo · 47.6km from Narita

Omotesando is actually the shrine's worship road, with crowds of believers and tourists coming and going. Popular shrines are good commercial streets, such as Sensoji Temple and Meiji Jingu Shrine in the center of Tokyo. Although Naritasan Shinshoji is far away from the city center, it is still very popular as an important temple of Shingon Buddhism. Therefore, the commercial street of Omotesando has a certain historical atmosphere and is also well developed in modern times.

Nice park, a lot of entertainment, but we happened to go on a Sunday and it was extremely crowded. An upside is that you can buy a pass, which is rather affordable, and it can help you experience more in one day. We bought passes for 2 attractions, and even with them were not able to attend everything, which was a pity, cause we spent most of the day queuing. I guess the situation is different on weekdays.

Please provide more details so other mothers can refer to them. I was alone with my one-year-old baby in a stroller. The Narita Dream Ranch website is only accessible from within Japan. Before leaving, I knew that Narita Dream Ranch had a free shuttle bus. Upon arriving, I discovered there were also shuttle buses between Narita Station and Namerikawa Station, which was great! I took a photo; there's a bus stop near the horse meat restaurant in front of Narita Station. I took the 10:10 bus and played until 2:00 PM before taking the shuttle bus back to Narita Station. There was plenty of time, but I didn't plan to have lunch at the ranch. The shuttle bus is a minibus with limited seating, but it shouldn't be crowded on weekdays. The journey takes about half an hour. I brought a stroller, which I folded up and had someone help me load it onto the bus. There are several restaurants on the ranch, and they also sell gelato. If you go in early December, you can see sunflower fields and free grass skiing. The ranch has a rabbit enclosure, snow lemurs, and horses that you can ride. The sheep enclosure was a pleasant surprise because you can go in and play with the sheep. They are quite gentle and don't pay much attention to people. I think if you have time during a layover, you can bring your children to visit.

Yes, it gets extremely crowded (especially weekends, holidays, and peak midday hours), but that energy is part of its charm for many. Go early or late and the experience becomes almost serene.
