Worth a trip. Interesting presentation of nouméa Kanak culture for decent price. Relative small and mostly in French.Nevertheless 1.5h where well spent here.
It's a very large beach, and there are many people swimming. I enjoyed watching the sunset. It's also nice to take a walk along the beach. There are many hotels, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby. You can spend your time relaxing here!
You can also get there by tourist bus or train (some leave from Anse Vata and the main cruise terminal).
I walked to the top to see the views. If you have the energy and time, I recommend walking. It took about an hour from the Hilton hotel.
There are no shops or cafes at the top or along the way, so bring water.
The views were amazing. You can see the whole of Noumea. I highly recommend you visit.
I also visited in the evening. The sunset was beautiful. There were many people there to watch the sunset.
I recommend going early in the morning or in the evening.
I went there early in the morning, so there were no tourists. It was a very beautiful church. However, it was quite hard to walk because it was on a hill. It might have been even harder if I had gone during the day because of the heat. I think it would have been better to go in the morning or evening to avoid the risk of heatstroke.
