Mount Lu is really prone to fog. On the first night, I drove up the mountain at 7 pm, but couldn't enter through the South Gate, so I went to the North Gate instead. The mountain roads were incredibly winding, a real test of driving skills. The next day, after exploring the western route, I planned to take the central route. However, by 4 pm, the fog was so thick that I only visited Chairman Mao's former residence and missed Lulin Lake. On the third morning, I noticed the fog was very heavy while having breakfast and hesitated to go to the Eastern Route's Three Cascades Spring. But since I was already there, I decided to try my luck and took a sightseeing bus through the town. The fog cleared immediately, but it returned when I arrived at Three Cascades Spring. However, it didn't affect my sightseeing at all, and the fog gradually dissipated.
