Shah Alam is a model town located 25 kilometers southwest of Kuala Lumpur, where tree-lined roads; beautiful parks and modern buildings are scattered. The more famous scenic spot is the splendid Sultan Salahuddin Abbul Aziz Shah Moaque, also known as the "Blue Mosque", because of its large blue dome and its blue and white dome. A mosque in Anan. The construction of the mosque was initiated by the then Selangor Sultan Sultan Salahuddin in 1974, started in 1982, and completed on March 11, 1988. The Selangor State Mosque combines Malaysian and modernist architectural styles. It is ingenious in construction, with blue and white as the main color, and its spectacular appearance makes people feel solemn. It can hold 24,000 people and is second only to the Istiklal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia in Southeast Asia. The shiny dome of the mosque is paved with blue aluminum and measures 51.2 meters in diameter and 106.7 meters high. The main prayer hall has two floors and is covered with red carpets, which is of high artistic value. The four minarets outside the Selangor State Mosque are 142.3 meters high, second only to the minaret of Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco.Shah Alam · 686m from downtown

National Mosque of Malaysia

National Mosque of Malaysia is located right next to the old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and is situated in the green space beside the Lake Gardens. It was completed in 1965. "Negara" means "national" in Malay, and the name commemorates the new nation's peaceful path to independence. Unlike common mosques with onion-shaped domes, it follows a clean and crisp modernist style, using concrete and marble to create a sense of open space, making it stand out among the city's many old Moorish-style buildings. The main dome of the prayer hall is particularly worth seeing: the 16-pointed star-shaped concrete roof resembles a giant open umbrella, radiating outward from the center. Beside it stands a minaret approx. 73 m high, with a top that looks like a closed umbrella, often described by visitors as resembling a rocket. The entire complex can accommodate over 10,000 worshippers at once. After major renovations in the 1980s, the roof was tiled with blue and green tiles, which pair neatly with the white columns.Kuala Lumpur · 20.7km from Shah Alam

Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur

Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur is a gravity cart amusement park in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, featuring the gravity cart experience originating from New Zealand. All carts here are designed and manufactured in New Zealand, with a hybrid appearance between go-karts and sleds. Instead of engine-powered propulsion, they rely entirely on gravity to race down the tracks. The controls are beginner-friendly—pulling the handle backward slows or brakes the cart, while releasing it accelerates, allowing riders to fully control their speed. This unique activity is available in only a few cities worldwide, and Kuala Lumpur is one of them. The park features four tracks laid along the mountain terrain, connecting continuous curves, hairpin turns, and tunnels. Each ride begins with a four-person chairlift cable car, taking you to the hilltop before you choose any track to race back down. Speed enthusiasts can repeatedly challenge themselves on tracks packed with tight turns, while family-friendly options allow adults and children to ride together. The experience is available both day and night, with the tracks illuminated after dark—offering a thrilling downhill rush under the lights that feels entirely different from the daytime. Many travelers specifically opt for the nighttime time slots. Photo spots are set up along the tracks, so watch for cameras when navigating turns. The park also includes activities like high-altitude ziplines, perfect for combining into your itinerary.Rawang · 22.5km from Shah Alam

The price was a bit high, but the scenery was beautiful. Unfortunately, there was no refund or cancellation policy. Because the driver deliberately led us on a wrong route, we were delayed and couldn't reach the top for the view. The children were very disappointed, and the driver refused to compensate us. We had to buy new tickets ourselves and visit the next day.

Kuala Lumpur Tower Review (98 words) From the Kuala Lumpur Tower observation deck, you can overlook the entire city, with the Petronas Twin Towers, TRX Tower, and National Theatre all visible – a fantastic vantage point. Unfortunately, the haze was heavy today, obscuring the distant views and significantly diminishing the experience. The SkyBox, a suspended glass structure, is quite challenging and suitable for photography enthusiasts. Overall, it's more of a city skyline photo opportunity; a visit to the tower is relatively short, and it's a convenient stop if you're passing by, not worth a special trip.

Pure Joy — Kids Had the Best Day Ever! 💧The two little ones absolutely loved Wet World! As soon as we arrived, they were off — one racing up the slide towers, splashing down with huge grins; the other exploring every pool and play area. They were so full of energy, running everywhere — hard to keep track of, but seeing them so free and happy was priceless! The water play areas are perfect for children — safe, fun, and exciting. Trip.com made it so simple to visit — easy booking, quick entry, great value. A day they’ll be talking about for ages!
