Kinderdijk Windmills is one of the most representative cultural landscapes in the Netherlands, located in South Holland province and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This attraction not only showcases the country's unique water management technology and windmill culture but also offers visitors an excellent opportunity to explore nature and history. The windmill complex consists of 19 windmills built in the 18th century for drainage and flood control, still preserving their original appearance. Visitors can stroll along the paths between the windmills, admire the magnificent views of these ancient structures, and learn about their significant role in Dutch history. Some windmills are open to the public, allowing visitors to enter and observe their intricate mechanical systems while experiencing the daily work of a miller. In addition to windmills, the attraction also features a museum and visitor center, offering extensive historical materials and interactive exhibits to help visitors gain a deeper understanding of Dutch water management and windmill technology. For visitors who enjoy outdoor activities, this is also an ideal place for riding and hiking, where you can follow the canals and green spaces to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. This is not just a sightseeing destination, but also a place of education and inspiration, where every visitor can experience the wisdom and perseverance of the Dutch people in their battle against water. Whether you're a history enthusiast, nature lover, or family traveler, this place offers a rich and unforgettable experience for all.Kinderdijk · 25.8km from Willemstad

The Mauritshuis Museum is located in the center of Hague, adjacent to the parliamentary complex. The building itself is worth seeing: this 17th-century mansion was originally the private residence of Count John Maurice of Nassau-Siegen, designed by architects Jacob van Campen and Pieter Post. Its symmetrical facade is considered one of the representative works of Dutch classical architecture. The restored "Golden Room" on the ground floor is renowned for its gilded decorations and allegorical ceiling paintings—don't forget to look up during your visit. The museum saves masterpieces such as Vermeer's "View of Delft" and "Girl with a Pearl Earring," Rembrandt's breakthrough work "The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp," as well as works by Rubens. The museum's collection provides an excellent showcase of the people, landscapes, customs, and daily life during the Dutch Golden Age. The museum houses approx. 200 permanent exhibits on display. Though small in scale, it can be comfortably explored in one to two hrs. Visitors typically enter and exit through the lobby of the new building across the street, accessing the old hall via a round-trip underground passage. For a quieter viewing experience of "Girl with a Pearl Earring," it is recommended to avoid peak hours.Hague · 44km from Willemstad

•The Van Gogh Museum houses more than 200 of Van Gogh's classic oil paintings, 580 drawings, four sketchbooks, and approximately 750 letters Van Gogh wrote to his brother Theo. •Let's revisit the arduous journey of this master artist's lifelong pursuit of painting skills and his passion for art and literature. •The old and new museums each have their own unique characteristics, yet they are integrated into one. △The old building was completed and opened to the public in 1973. The Van Gogh Museum was designed by Dutch De Stijl architect Rietveld. The new building was designed by a Japanese architect and completed in 1999. It is mainly used for temporary exhibitions. △The first-floor exhibition hall, titled "A Heart-to-Heart Communication with the Great Artist Van Gogh," guides visitors through a series of works and materials, leading them on a journey through the arduous pursuit of painting mastery throughout his life. The second-floor exhibition hall houses works created by Van Gogh between 1883 and 1889, while the third-floor exhibition displays letters between Van Gogh and his brother Theo. The fourth-floor exhibition hall showcases works created by Van Gogh during his lucid periods, a time of repeated relapses of mental illness, between 1889 and 1890.Amsterdam · 80km from Willemstad

• A large collection of well-known art treasures, including masterpieces by many well-known masters • Retaining the architectural style of the 19th century, the brick-red walls are all decorated with images of Dutch history and art • The vaulted roof of the renovated museum atrium hall is made of glass, and the floor is paved with Portuguese stone floor tiles. Natural light penetrates the entire hall, which is spacious and bright. △ The building where the museum is located was planned and designed by the designer of Amsterdam Railway Station. It was opened to the public in 1885 and is one of the oldest museums in Europe. △ Go up the escalator and enter the viewing corridor. The corridor is composed of arched brick walls and large floor-to-ceiling windows. You can enjoy the panoramic view of the atrium hall. The library on the same floor as the corridor is not to be missed. The history of the library can be traced back to the 19th century. This windmill group is one of the two largest windmill groups in the Netherlands, but most tourists go to the windmill group near Amsterdam. This windmill group is relatively close to Rotterdam, and guests on Viking cruises are usually taken here for a visit. Viking cruises can dock very close to the attractions, so it is very labor-saving for tourists. Here you can not only take pictures outside the windmill, but also enter the windmill to see how it works.

I traveled to a city specifically for a painting. I went to The Hague just to see the masterpiece, "Girl with a Pearl Earring," in person. Compared to large museums, I personally prefer this art gallery; it's small, exquisite, and fulfilling, leaving a deep and unforgettable impression.

Of course it's worth coming here. It's super clean. Whether you're shopping for small things or buying souvenirs to bring back to relatives and friends, you can always buy what you need. Of course, there are also various delicacies, such as cheese, donuts, various chocolates, sausages... Our favorite is fried fish (Bakje kibbeling), which we must buy every time.

Rotterdam built a high tower on the site of the Horticultural Expo. The top has a large space, a special viewing platform and a unique restaurant. This landmark building is also an important part of the local tour. There are many fun things around the tower. [Scenery] The scenery here is very good
