This is the first comprehensive ecological experience zone of the cultural, commercial and tourism industry in Guangxi, a new life business district integrating culture, tourism, entertainment, leisure, vacation and shopping. The street entrance of the town is based on an old locomotive as a landscape. A long railroad track extends along the street entrance to the other end of the town. Traveling by train has become a way of traveling slowly in the town. Can you imagine what railways and trains were like before the 1920s and 1930s? This is a landscape built on the basis of the first railway in Guangxi built by Liao Baifang, a native of Rongxian County in 1935, and the historical memory of the locomotive he purchased from Germany, reproducing the century-old history of Guangxi Railway here. The focus of the town at night is the Paramount stage that moves along the railway. With the slow movement of the stage, the music of "Green Island Serenade", "Jasmine", "Night Shanghai" and other popular music in the 1920s and 1930s drifted in the small town. The town night sky, coupled with the use of advanced stage special effects, lighting technology and other creative means, integrates modern fashion elements into traditional culture. The eight generals' mansions are: Huang Shaojun's mansion, Huang Xuchu's mansion, Xia Wei's mansion, Ye Qi's mansion, He Zhuguo's mansion, Gan Lichu's mansion, Luo Qi's mansion, and Wei Yunsong's mansion. These Chinese and Western buildings will be developed into "General's Private Kitchen", where local delicacies will be presented, complementing the bustling street market, with many stalls, busy traffic, opera juggling, non-staple snacks... A bustling city appearance is like the same Today, a hundred years later, the "Across the River During Qingming Festival" in Zhangrong County, its calm atmosphere and elegant style are presented one by one in front of people's eyes. The General Museum switches from a bustling street scene to a scene of wars and thousands of troops fighting in the battlefield. Life-size sculptures are seamlessly integrated with background special effects, and a large number of photoelectric special effects are produced and set into one. A powerful war scene. Illusion and reality alternate, tradition and modernity are combined, showing the war scenes of Rong County soldiers resisting foreign aggression and defending peace. There are also eight admiral train carriages in the town, which are planned to feature themed restaurants, creative casual restaurants, casual bars, coffee shops, water bars and other formats. It is connected with Zhenwu Pavilion and Duqiao Mountain Scenic Spot, covering the entire Rongzhou area with strong influence and penetrating power. At the same time, with the support of southern black sesame culture and industrial foundation, we will build a development chain linking culture, business and tourism, forming two cultural museums, three cultural circles, four major commercial formats, as well as industrial brand interaction and specialty food business cards. business life circle...Rong County · 2.1km from downtown

The Elephant Hill Scenic Area is located in the heart of Guilin, at the confluence of the Li River and the Peach Blossom River. It derives its name from its resemblance to a giant elephant stretching its trunk to drink from the sweet waters of the Li River. In his work "Records of Elephant Hill," Shu Shu, a Qing Dynasty official from the Ministry of Works, wrote: "The marvels of Guangxi lie in its mountains; the marvels of Guangxi's mountains lie in their rocks, and the elephant-shaped hill facing the provincial capital is the most marvelous of all." With its lifelike form, the attraction captivates visitors and stands as a quintessential representation of Guilin's landscape. In 1995, it was designated as the city emblem of Guilin. The main attractions in the scenic area include: Elephant Hill and Water Moon, Puxian Pagoda, Elephant Hill Scenic Area and Guilin Sanhua Liquor, Elephant Hill Scenic Area - Love Island, and Elephant Hill Scenic Area - Yunfeng Temple Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Exhibition Hall. Elephant trunk hill and water moon cave "Elephant trunk hill and water moon" is a spectacular wonder here, as described in the poem by Ji Bei Hermit of the Song Dynasty.Harmony of water, moon and caveThe poem reads: "The moon is beneath the water, the moon floats upon the water. The water flows but the moon stays, the moon departs yet the water still flows." On a moonlit night, visiting the Water Moon Cave at the Elephant Trunk Hill attraction presents a magical scene where the moon in the sky, the cave, and the water reflect each other beautifully. Inside the cave, you can find the "Poem and Preface of the Morning Sun Pavilion" by Zhang Xiaoxiang from the Song Dynasty and works by Fan Chengda.Inscription on the water and moon caveAnd over 50 precious cliff carvings including Lu You's poetry manuscripts. Xiangshan scenic area - Puxian pagoda Winding up along the rocky cliffs, you can see the Puxian pagoda standing tall amidst the greenery from afar. Built during the Ming dynasty, this 13.6m-high solid brick lama-style pagoda has a history of over 400 years. On the northern side of the pagoda, there is a line-engraved bluestone statue of a bodhisattva, with the mantra "Namo Puxian Bodhisattva" inscribed above it, hence the name Puxian pagoda in the Xiangshan attraction. Buddhist scriptures record that Puxian bodhisattva's mount is a six-tusked white elephant, making the pagoda's location atop Xiangshan mountain a perfect embodiment of this scripture. Elephant Hill Scenic Area and Guilin Sanhua liquor This is a natural wine cellar, with two-thirds of the mountain being hollow. It stays warm in winter and cool in summer, maintaining a constant temperature of 19°C and humidity above 90% year-round. Since the Song Dynasty, it has served as an official cellar for storing Sanhua wine. Sanhua wine is colorless and transparent, with a fragrant yet spicy taste. It drawsLi RiverWith the essence of the mountains and the soul of the Li River, it has become a representative of China's rice-aroma liquor. The cellar liquor was designated as a tribute to the imperial court as early as the Northern Song Dynasty and is one of the three treasures of Guilin. To date, nearly a thousand tons of liquor are stored in the caves. Love island Love island is located on the north side of the attraction, adjacent toLi RiverIt is another scenic viewpoint for distant viewing. The island boasts a beautiful environment and lush vegetation, making it a popular dating spot for locals in the 1970s, hence the name "love island". Today, it serves as an outdoor photography base for wedding celebrations against the backdrop of Guilin's landscape, where couples make their vows of love under the witness of the elephant trunk hill and the moon reflected in the water.China · Guilin

The Museum of Guangxizhuang Autonomous Region (hereinafter referred to as "Guangxi Museum"), established in 1934, is a provincial-level comprehensive museum of history and art, and one of China's first national first-class museums. It houses nearly 100,000 artifacts (sets), including 148 first-class cultural relics (sets), 1,974 second-class cultural relics (sets), and 3,865 third-class cultural relics (sets). The museum's collection is not only vast in quantity and diverse in categories, covering a wide range from the Paleolithic Age to modern times, but also features strong local ethnic characteristics. These artifacts hold significant historical, artistic, and scientific value, bearing witness to Guangxi's historical development and evolution across various periods. To promote the high-quality development of museums, with strong support from the Party Committee and Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region underwent renovation and expansion starting in January 2019. The new museum building, covering approximately 42,000 square meters with 10,000 square meters of exhibition space, opened to the public in late November 2022. It features permanent exhibitions such as "Ancient Civilizations of Guangxi" and "Flames of the Southern Frontier: Guangxi's Modern Revolutionary History," along with thematic exhibitions including "Setting Sail from Hepu: Guangxi's Maritime Silk Road of the Han Dynasty," "A Kaleidoscope of Glazes: Ceramic Collections," and "Exquisite Craftsmanship: Treasures of Artistry." These exhibits comprehensively illustrate Guangxi's developmental path within China's diverse-yet-unified civilization framework. The main building consists of an exhibition hall featuring the stilt-style architecture of the Zhuang ethnic group and a cultural relics garden with strong ethnic characteristics, integrating classic nostalgic views, leisure cultural spaces, and modern technological design. The new museum's functional zoning is scientifically and rationally planned to fully meet the public cultural service needs of the museum. It adds four interactive areas: a historical theater, a children's archaeology exploration hall, a youth activity center, and a cultural creative shop. The museum has established a smart infrastructure based on middle platforms, big data, cloud computing, microservices, and knowledge graphs, enabling smart management functions such as remote reservation, AR audio guides during visits, and volunteer management. It also offers diverse and personalized services including live guides, audio guides, historical theater performances, archaeological interactive experiences, and ethnic cuisine. In the era of cultural and tourism integration, the newly revitalized Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will integrate functions such as collection, research, exhibition, education, tourism, and international exchange. Rooted in its distinctive "museum-garden combination" and "dynamic-static complementarity" approach, it is dedicated to exploring Guangxi's historical and cultural essence, showcasing Guangxi's image, and telling Guangxi's stories well. By promoting the fusion of culture and tourism, the museum aims to make cultural relics "rotate," "smart," and "dynamic," striving to achieve creative transformation and innovative development of China's outstanding traditional culture. This effort contributes significantly to building a magnificent Guangxi in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.China · Nanning

Well, it was just okay, but the price wasn't too high. The water jetpack segment was missing in 2026, but that's understandable; the market in Yulin is relatively small, and it's only been running for three years, so the NPCs are part-time rather than long-term trained. I still hope the scenic area for parents will continue to improve; things in the city are already slowly getting better.

The decor of this shop is truly thoughtful. The blue bricks, arches, and latticed windows of the Lingnan-style arcade buildings are all perfectly recreated, blending the Nanyang and Lingnan styles naturally, rather than being just another trendy shop piling on elements. I especially loved the window seats on the second floor; the afternoon sunlight streaming through the latticed windows created a particularly charming interplay of light and shadow. For taking photos, I recommend coming after 4 PM when the light is softer.

Just went to the pit yesterday! pit! pit! The road is difficult to travel on. SUV is ok, but sedan is not recommended! There are signs on the roadside warning that this is not a scenic spot. It is dangerous and you cannot enter! There is a cement factory nearby, and it is very dusty. I had to wash the car after going there. As I got close, I could smell a strong stench, like pig manure and garbage. Don't go there!

Such a small city museum is so good, it is worth applauding. I got to know the local area in a short time. It is an important part of the Maritime Silk Road. There are a lot of interactive contents, and you can check in. The space is also very large and bright. It is not tiring to visit. The theme exhibitions are eye-opening.

When visiting Guilin, a must-see is Elephant Trunk Hill, the city's iconic landmark. It truly lives up to its reputation as the face of Guilin's landscape; only by seeing it in person can one truly appreciate the wonders of nature. The entire mountain sits on the banks of the Li River, resembling a giant elephant bowing to drink from the water. The Water Moon Cave cuts through the mountain, its reflection shimmering in the water, creating the famous Elephant Trunk Hill and Water Moon spectacle—a flowing ink painting. The scenic area is clean and comfortable, with walking paths built along the Li River, shaded by lush trees, making for a delightful stroll. You can climb the mountain for panoramic views of Guilin, or find classic vantage points along the riverbank to capture stunning, atmospheric photos. Boat trips are also available, offering a different and breathtaking perspective of Elephant Trunk Hill from the river. The scenic area is conveniently located in the city center, with excellent transportation and comprehensive facilities. Every step reveals a new vista, allowing you to truly experience the unparalleled beauty of Guilin's landscape. Don't miss it when traveling to Guilin; it's definitely worth a visit.

The exhibits are plentiful, concentrated on the second and third floors, but unfortunately, the museum doesn't limit visitor numbers, making it impossible to sit still and appreciate them at a leisurely pace. I suggest following the example of other provincial museums and changing the reservation system to two-hour time slots—limiting the number of visitors would significantly improve the experience. Also, the smell of recent renovations in some exhibition halls is quite strong.
