"We had such an amazing stay here. The room was. Little small but lovely and clean and the bed was so comfy. We were greeted by very friendly staff, thanks to Gerard who was so friendl when he checked us in. The location was very convenient, we could walk everywhere and didn't need to use a bus for our whole three day stay. We didn't have the breakfast but I especially loved the coffee and tea available in the rooms. They were all very helpful at checkout, we coul store our bags whilst we spent the day wondering the city. I would definitely stay here again!" - TOP 2

"im stayed at adagio dec 14 - dec 16. its not a good experience for first timer in edinburgh. we stayed at room 226. our shower come slowly. we complained at dec 15. until dec 16 still no response. dec 17 i complained again with staff GABRIELLA ( in the morning). they sent staff to check our room. at 21.00 pm we just came back to hotel. and we got shocked, because they took off the shower and all the water in the bath room off. i called to the staff they said cant fix it. with no regret or sorry expression gabriella asked me to move to another room at level 4. ( im travelling with 3 kids). when i called her again she just hang up the phone. as a hotel under accor, you should ask me first about shower cant fix it. not directly took off everthing. because it imposible to us in the middle of the night packing all our luggage with 3 tired kids. you must train your staff how to serve guest. very dissapointed with your hotel esp with gabriella. never come back to adagio edinburgh 😡" - TOP 3

"I booked this room for our wedding day for me and my husband. Our room was 425, upon arrival the welcome was like cold by the Duty manager as he said he was busy sending emails and asked Daniel to do the check in for us. We expected a congratulations for your marriage or kind of but after like 5 minutes doing the checking with him I had to ask him if there was a special request there as we got marriage and then he saw this information in the system. We got an upgrade to an executive room with a bottle of bubble in the room and sleepers and robes also in the room, very nice touch, plus 2 drinks from the bar for the arrival and 10% discount, very nice and much appreciated. The room was very nice and bigger than expected but the cleanliness was not what we expected. The duvet cover was like with stain and we found hairs in our pillows. When I opened the bed I took the sheet from the mattress by mistake and it was pretty disgusting over there and a deep clean was needed. We were very tired and also it was very late to ask to move to a new bedroom. In general the stay was good and the hotel treated us well, but they need to clean the rooms better." - TOP 5

"The bed really surprised me cause it is electric lifting and pretty comfortable and unique. The bathing area is the second good thing in this room, it's not really large but with comfortable facility and warm inner space. Besides the room is big enough for two persons. However it's a huge pity that there's no larger table and kettle in it. That's quite uncomfortable for the persons have needs of working or something else. It will be better that have switch control lights on the head of bed too." - TOP 6

My only criticism is the room we were allocated is in the building next to the main hotel. And our room was up several steep flights of stairs in the attic rooms. This could be an issue for anyone older or with poor mobility. Beautifully furnished room but a little hot with one window needing to be propped open with a water bottle as it wouldn’t stay open.
