What travelers say:"The location is superior, within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, and only three to five minutes away from the shopping street.
The service is not bad, everything you need is there. There are many welcome fruits, and the glass of mineral water is placed on the bedside after turning down the bed. There are scales! This is very important!
The room is quite big, with a balcony, but unfortunately there is no view. However, the terrace bar on the top floor has a nice view, overlooking St. Peter's Basilica, it is very pleasant to drink a glass of wine."
What travelers say:"This hotel was the best hotel we have stayed in Italy! All the front desk staff were so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is also conveniently located near to the train station which is a plus point. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel and will be back if I’m coming back to Rome again!"
What travelers say:"I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I visited with my 14-year old daughter last month, with 5 nights in Rome at the beginning and 2 nights at the end. Based on reviews, price, and location, I booked this hotel -- we could not have been happier. Our room was spotless during both of our stays, as were the common areas, restaurant, etc. The hotel is perfectly located -- right in the middle of the historic center and walkable to everything -- Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon all a 5-10 minute walk. Whenever we needed a taxi (e.g. early morning tours that were a 25 min walk away), the front desk staff (Lyuba, Davide, Iustin) were helpful and the taxi was never more than a 4 minute wait (more about staff below). The hotel is on a road with restaurants, a few small supermarkets, a wonderful local pasticceria, and a 4-5 minute walk from Piazza Navona -- a beautiful, huge piazza with stunning fountains, surrounded by endless restaurants and bars. There's a pharmacy right off the piazza if you need anything -- I used it to get COVID tested to be able to fly home. It was fast, easy, and reliable.
The hotel breakfasts were fantastic - typical European breakfast with meats + cheeses, yogurts / cereals / berries, all kinds of coffee drinks, breads / rolls / croissants, warm foods (e.g. quiche, sauteed spinach, eggs, etc.), and endless baked goods. The staff wore masks at all times, and most guests wore masks while up and about at the buffet, taking them off while seated. The tables were set beautifully and the entire area was spotless -- it was easy to see how hard the dining room staff worked.
The rooms were great -- extremely comfortable beds, terrific linens, wonderful shower, all modern and new. Be aware, even with the window closed and on a higher floor, on the front side of the hotel the street below is busy and there's a restaurant / bar with outdoor seating in front of the hotel -- if you're a light sleeper, you'll hear sounds (people + traffic) late into the night. My daughter didn't notice at all -- I heard it all night. Our room during the beginning of our stay was on the rear of the buidling, opening into a small courtyard -- it was lovely, quiet, airy, and had a wonderful balcony (4th Floor). If you can get one of those rooms, I highly recommend it.
The front desk staff: ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. As a mom traveling alone with a young teenage daughter during COVID and the instability in eastern Europe, I had concerns before traveling. Lyuba, Davide, and Iustin were attentive, helpful, accommodating, and informative. Whether it was checking us in early when we first arrived from the airport, arranging taxis, storing our luggage while we traveled to Florence, or helping figure out COVID testing to return home, they were on point, efficient, and kind. The afternoon before our flight home, I realized that the Rome Marathon was scheduled for the following day. They helped me trouble shoot while I was out with my daughter, trying to be present with her while simultaneously communicating with them via WhatsApp to figure out how to get to the airport the next morning. Requesting a taxi 1/2 hour before heading to the airport would have been disasterous, as they were closing all the roads, and no taxis would have been available. The staff arranged a private driver (worth the cost) and were in close contact with him and his dispatcher to make sure we were all apprised of which roads were closed. My daughter and I did have to walk 10 minutes to the river with our suitcases and cross to the other side, as all local roads had been closed, but it was actually a piece of cake. Our driver was waiting for us exactly where the hotel staff said he would be, and from there it was easy getting to the airport. If the staff hadn't been responsive and seriously on top of it, we would not have made it to the airport that day.
The highest recommendation for the best hotel experience!"
What travelers say:"The hotel is next to Piazza Venezia, within 10 minutes' walk from the Colosseum, and 10 minutes from the Pantheon. It is very convenient, and there are many restaurants around. The hotel has breakfast, which will be delivered to the room, which is delicious."
What travelers say:"I stayed here for 5 nights because I wanted to go to the Vatican for a night walk.
The location is very close to Castel Sant'Angelo, 10-15 minutes to the Vatican, and 10 minutes to Lepanto station. If you go to the main street (Via Cola di Rienzo), it will be crowded, but the area around the hotel is quiet. The bus from the airport stops near the hotel (vatican stop).
At check-in, we were assigned a terrace room with a view of St. Peter's Basilica. All the staff will greet you pleasantly.
The rooms are very spacious and the air conditioning works well. Cleanliness, etc. is a four-star average. Amenity was prepared one way, and there were slippers and bathrobe, too. I personally didn't like the quality of the shampoo and conditioner.
Breakfast was especially rich with fresh juices.
The bad point is that there was only one day at the breakfast venue where I thought the washing was not easy because there was lipstick left on the washed cup."
What travelers say:"The surrounding area of the hotel is still very good. After all, it is walking distance from all attractions. It takes less than 5 minutes to reach the Forum and about 10 minutes to the Colosseum. We live here every time we come, but the price is really expensive. Our return trip is 8.11 The outbound journey on July 17 is almost 1000 more expensive
How to say about the internal environment, it is relatively small, certainly not as good as domestic ones with the same price, but it is very Roman style
When I left, I found a small surprise, as shown in the picture"
What travelers say:"Just a few minutes walk from Rome’s central Termini station, Unahotel deco offers modern well decorated spacious bathroom and bedroom. We especially enjoyed the breakfast which had a great variety of delicious pastry, hams and other hot dishes. We stayed in this hotel twice already and would definitely go back on our next trip to Rome!"
What travelers say:"Wait for one hour check in to Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport+find out suppose a credit card imprint which indicate EUR 9, but at the end charge to my credit card
Lack of front office staff, no where to be seen a duty manager to explain the situtation.
Waiting at the reception for more than 40 minutes and counting for my stayed on 28 May 2023. The receptionist claim that the system is down so if the system is not back on until certain of time what you gonna do? They offer me to sit and wait but not even a bottle of water or offer a late check out. "
What travelers say:"This time I specially booked a hotel some distance from the city, only 5-6 minutes drive from the Vatican Museum, and about 20 minutes from downtown Rome; the hotel hardware is good, the front desk and restaurant are very friendly to Chinese tourists, but unfortunately the hotel does not have three Michelin stars If you make a reservation, you usually need to make a reservation more than one month in advance; the breakfast is very rich, don't miss it"
