"The round house is the oldest prison in Freemantel, Western Australia, for nearly 200 years. It is a building made of boulders, the walls are very high, the base is a round fortress, and the center is the place of activity for prisoners at that time. This was a very advanced prison at that time. It has now become a world cultural heritage for everyone to visit."
Highlights: The "Park House" is a circular building made of limestone. It is the oldest existing public building in Western Australia and was built in 1831. It started as a local prison and hanging place, and later became a temporary holding facility for curfew violators and Aboriginal people who were about to be transferred to Rottnest Island for punishment.
