  Highlights: Layton Beach, just north of Fremantle, has soft white sand overlooking Rottnest Island and the Western Australian sunset. Snorkeling and swimming are good here, because the waves are not big, and it is also very suitable for children to play. Just 1.5km north of the beach is a surf break, and at the northern end of the beach there is a pet play area, and the shallows for dogs to swim in will keep them entertained!

  "South beach is a very remote and quiet beach in Ferimantel. This beach has basically not been commercially developed and looks very primitive. The beach is rough but very clean. If you like a quiet beach, it is recommended to come here, it is really very comfortable."
