"I studied the Hollywood hiking route and found that most of it takes 2 to 3 hours. Because I only have one day to visit Los Angeles, I was excited to find this park to see the Hollywood sign up close. The park is easily accessible by car or by Uber taxi. If you want to see the sign closer, you can hike for 10 minutes."

"Nice little hike. You have to park at the bottom of a huge hill and then walk a while through a residential area (mostly up hill) before you actually get to the trail. That was not well marked at all. Otherwise it’s a beautiful hike. We were easily able to do it (ages 7, 9, 36, 44). The path was mostly clear and wide. A few very small streams (like you could probably walk right over them and barely get your feet wet) are in the trail which the kids loved. The falls were really nice and there was enough space at the bottom to play around. There were some trails to the top of the falls but we didn’t venture up them."

"Well, I love the train, I said it! Will I walk a long distance to take the Angel Railway? Maybe not, but since we're going back to the hotel from dinner, you can guess that of course I'll spend $1 per line to take it! Despite having at least two signage there, some (my husband!) asked if each line was the same price! (The girl laughed and said she was asked much more than anyone else.) It only takes a few minutes to get back to the ride itself, which is all the history of the train. It's shorter than the Pittsburgh cable car, but it's all equally fun! Sit at nine o'clock and don't have to wait."
Highlights: The Angel Railway in Los Angeles, California, USA, is known as the railway with the shortest operating mileage in the world, with a total length of 298 feet (about 91 meters) and is built along sloping hills.
