Dr. Dennis E. EricsonUlucami is a very important monument of Turkish history. At the first imperial capital of the Ottoman dynasty, Ulucami is a very nice piece of local art. The pool in the middle of the mosque where you can take ablution is a very good idea.

The stalls sell handicrafts, local snacks, and there are some restaurants/coffee shops. You can also reserve time to eat something here, and there are also famous Turkish refreshments.
