滨翠山庄Getting to Shunan Bamboo Sea is very convenient now; it's just a few minutes from the highway exit. The scenery inside the scenic area is beautiful, and you can even see pandas. I searched online and found the top-ranked hotel, which I heard is the best hotel in the scenic area: Shunan Cultural Tourism Resort Hotel. The hotel has very complete facilities, a swimming pool, beautiful scenery, and excellent service. I'll definitely come back next time I have the chance!

M2b***faCiqikou Ancient Town, originally named Baiyanchang, was founded during the Xianping reign of Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty (998-1003). It was renamed Longyin Town because Ming Dynasty Emperor Jianwen, Zhu Yunwen, once retreated in Baolun Temple within the town. The town earned the name "Ciqikou" due to its flourishing porcelain industry during the Qing Dynasty. It was once a major waterway port on the Jialing River and one of the birthplaces of modern industry in Chongqing. Through conservation and development in the late 20th century, it has become the largest and best-preserved ancient town in Chongqing's main urban area, showcasing the Ba-Yu culture. Baolun Temple: Built during the Song Dynasty, it is said to have been the retreat of Emperor Jianwen, with preserved Ming Dynasty architectural features. Hanlin Academy: The remains of a Qing Dynasty academy, showcasing the culture of the imperial examination system. Ciqikou Backstreet: A commercial district blending tradition and modernity, housing boutique hotels, cultural and creative properties, and other 24-hour businesses. Chongqing Memory Museum: An immersive exhibition presents the ancient town's millennia-long history.

Anonymous userA UNESCO World Heritage site, the Dazu complex of Buddhist cave carvings provides a fascinating but exhausting (so many steps) excursion from Chongqing, approximately 90 minutes drive. We were very lucky as we booked to share a mini bus but ended up with a private car just for us with an extremely friendly, helpful and careful driver. As we're both over 65, we got free entry although we had to pay Y20 each for the site shuttle bus. A trip that takes some effort but is certainly worth it.

Anonymous userThere's no need to go inside and buy a ticket tbh, you can just admire it's beauty from the courtyard outside

被五险一金困住的自由灵魂Absolutely beautiful, Jimei people, this is a hidden treasure attraction, 75th floor, the highest point in Chongqing, what could be more exciting than a wise off-peak trip during the National Day holiday, this high place is blowing with a whirring wind and the sunset is endless, Chongqing is really worth it 🉐

_We***73A gentle mist enveloped the viewing platform, the streets below appearing and disappearing in the mist. In the distance, the Shanhe Tower stood, like ink blurred by the fog. Standing here, even breathing felt lighter; I completely understand why some say that a foggy day is the eye of the clouds, the true cloudscape.

Anonymous userAbsolutely fantastic, a must-do activity! The panoramic view of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers in Chongqing at night is breathtaking! The only downside was that the three of us didn't know how to get to the pier to board the boat. Because of time constraints, we were forced to pay an extra 60 yuan for directions! Actually, we later learned that the pier was right outside the first floor of Hongyadong! Don't be silly and not know this!

DaremaI have to say the ride doesn’t make up for the queue to get in, pretty sure you can do something more productive in the 1.5h. Now it was friday afternoon, maybe try on a working day? 🤔
