Visiting Baotu Spring again; it's been a long time since my last visit. The last time was in 2004. More than 20 years have passed. Bringing my child and parents to revisit. Guide Jiang was very patient and thorough, explaining things for over two hours despite there being only two people present. Although the museum didn't have many treasures, the low number of visitors made for a very good experience. 👍

The ancient city park is much larger than the old Baimaiquan Park. The springs and ancient buildings complement each other beautifully, making for a very pleasant stroll. And since the weather is getting cooler, the park thoughtfully provided cotton mats on the stone benches for resting. This autumn, Jinan has had a lot of rain, so I specially brought my parents to see the springs.

It was a last-minute decision to travel with the child. Before going, I read a few travel guides, which said the park wasn't very big, but I thought it was okay. Walking with the child and pushing the stroller was still a bit tiring. The elephant, panda, and lion and tiger enclosures were the most crowded.

Fantastic! Although it was raining, it didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the visit at all. The animals seemed even more energetic in this kind of weather. The only downside was that the elephants and giraffes couldn't be seen outdoors because of the rain.
