Since we entered the panda base in the afternoon, most of the pandas were sleeping, so we didn't see many. If I come again, I should go to the panda base to see the pandas in the morning and then go to the zoo in the afternoon. The scenery in the canyon was just average.

Location: If driving, directly navigate to Wawushan Visitor Center. It's a 3-4 hour drive from Chengdu. Environment: The air is quite good, but it was still quite cold when I went as it wasn't snowing. The autumn leaves are quite beautiful. Value for Money: Not very cost-effective. The weather wasn't great when I went, and the entrance fee was quite expensive.

Mount Emei is the sacred site of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, and it's worth a visit. The high-speed rail journey from the station to Leidongping takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes. After getting off, it's about a 30-minute hike (there are monkeys along the way) to the cable car station. The cable car takes 3 minutes to ascend the mountain, followed by a 10-minute hike to the Golden Summit. A visit to the Golden Summit takes about 1 hour. The road from Leidongping to Wannian Temple is under construction until the end of the year, so the bus service and the Wannian Temple cable car are suspended. Currently, only the Leidongping-Huanglong Visitor Center-Wuxiangang bus service runs intermittently, but there may be at least a 30-minute wait when there are few passengers. The journey from Leidongping to Wuxiangang takes about 2 hours. Arriving at the Monkey Nature Reserve in the afternoon, I didn't see a single monkey.

Prelude to Water Melody: When Will the Moon Be Bright? (Northern Song Dynasty, Su Shi) When will the moon be bright? I raise my cup to ask the heavens. I wonder what year it is tonight in the celestial palace. I long to ride the wind and return, But fear the jade towers and crystal palaces, The heights are too cold to bear. I dance with my shadow, How can it compare to being in the mortal world? The moon turns through the red pavilion, lowers its light through the embroidered windows, illuminating my sleeplessness. There should be no resentment, yet why is the moon always full when we are apart? People have sorrow and joy, separation and reunion; The moon has its phases of waxing and waning. This has been difficult to achieve since ancient times. I only wish that we may live long and share the beauty of the moon, though separated by a thousand miles.

A highly worthwhile trip! Not only can you observe pandas up close, but you also learn a lot about them. Watching them break bamboo, make steamed buns, and cut bamboo leaves is very fun, and there are guides providing detailed explanations. Little Hu is particularly impressive; she can not only identify the different pandas but also knows their interesting stories. A must-see for panda lovers! The Dujiangyan Giant Panda Park is also an excellent place to see pandas. It's easily accessible, not far from the Qingcheng Mountain High-Speed Railway Station, and there are also good hotels nearby. The park itself isn't very large, but there are many pandas! Once the pandas come out to their enclosure, they aren't often obstructed by trees, offering a wide viewing angle. The park's slopes aren't very steep, and since early December is the off-season, there aren't many tourists, so you can watch for as long as you like!

This attraction is recommended for those who cannot revisit Tibet due to altitude sickness. The shuttle bus takes you to the highest point within the scenic area, and you can explore from one stop to another without having to walk much. A hot spring foot bath costs 35 yuan per person and includes a disposable towel. I even ate two hot spring eggs!

Hidden deep in the mountains, this stunningly beautiful hidden gem features babbling brooks and swirling mists. The winding path feels like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. A gentle mountain breeze caresses your face; every breath is a gift from nature. You might even stumble upon a small waterfall, where sunlight instantly soothes all your weariness! The most beautiful scenery is often found in places rarely visited by humans. Are you ready to pack light and go?

It's really worth it. Visiting one place a day would be better. (Although there are tourist buses, I'd prefer to take the city buses to experience the local area, but unfortunately the city buses stop running a bit early in the evening.)
