It is a cute aquarium and perfect for a little family visit. However it is kind of small and there weren’t as many interesting exhibitions as I expected. If you only need to spend an hour or two then it’s perfect.

Compared with the science museums in New York and Washington, the science museum in Boston seems a bit deserted and niche. The museum is built on the banks of the Charles River. The scenery is naturally amazing and beautiful. You can walk across the bridge all the way. This museum combines natural history museums, science museums, and planetariums. It can be said that it is a very suitable museum series for family travel in Boston. Here you can also see the research results displayed by major technology companies and top universities, and most of the exhibits are also interactive multimedia designs. There are students of all ages in each exhibition hall. I feel that the theme content of the exhibition hall is quite scientific. 📌 As a tradition of science museums, how can we miss the domineering dinosaur models, so the museum here must also be arranged. There are also two models of Tyrannosaurus Rex outside the museum. I feel that the content of the exhibition hall is also very interesting and fun. From black bears to beavers, it shows the evolution of the ecosystem and geographical environment of New England and the impact on organisms. The museum also set up a special interactive area where you can touch the fur of American beavers

When my friend recommended this museum to me, I didn't pay much attention to it at first. I felt that it was difficult for a museum on campus to create a high degree of surprise. I didn't expect to be slapped in the face when I went there. I was so happy to visit it with my friends that I couldn't stop at all. The various strange exhibits were dazzling. The Harvard Museum of Natural History also has a place on the list of Boston's favorite museums. Founded in 1998, the museum consists of three exhibition halls with different themes: plant specimens, comparative zoology, and mineral geology. Among them, the plant specimen hall was established first. At the beginning of the construction of the museum, it was established by more than 200,000 plant specimens donated by Harvard University professor Asa Gray. In 1977, the Mineral and Geology Museum was built with donations. The last one is the Comparative Zoology Hall built in 1859. Each theme pavilion has its own wonderful features. I was so happy visiting each one. The glass flower display in the botanical specimen museum and the various animal specimens in the comparative zoology museum were all amazing. My favorite was the mineral geology museum, which had a variety of exquisite minerals. It feels like I rarely see such a large scale and exquisiteness in other museums.

It turns out that if you don't have kids, you don't have to check in at this museum lol. I don't know what I was thinking at the time. After visiting Fan Pier Park, I saw this museum and thought about visiting it. I also wanted to feel what the children's museum here is like. Will it be the same as the science and technology museum I liked to visit when I was a child? Hahaha, it turns out that I thought too much. The museum is really built for children and is full of childlike fun. If you want to find a highlight for the museum, it is probably the various colliding colors in each exhibition hall. It is colorful and feels like summer. And most of the entertainment facilities here are interactive, and I feel that children will like it very much. If you come here without children, the clerk of the museum will also ask you to deposit a certificate here and take it away when you leave the museum. Maybe there are really few people who come here to check in the Children's Museum. It is highly recommended to come here to play and watch in person. There is also a Japanese courtyard residential garden in the museum. You need to wear slippers to enter. The layout of the exhibition hall is more interesting.
