The Puffing Billy steam train is really great! Sitting in the retro carriage, listening to the whistle, passing through dense forests and valleys. The scenery along the way is picturesque, and you can stick your feet out of the window and wave and interact with the enthusiastic residents. It feels like being in a fairy tale world. This unique journey makes people forget their troubles and is extremely comfortable.

Highly recommended! The museum's design is incredibly creative, and the exhibits are rich and diverse. The animal specimens, in particular, are remarkably lifelike! The text descriptions and physical displays throughout the exhibition hall are meticulously designed and produced. The interactive experiences are especially commendable, with various dynamic displays and videos helping viewers gain a more thorough understanding. It's definitely worth taking the time to appreciate it.

So much to see here! We weren’t able to to catch all the shows, do the mine tour, or find gold because we got caught up just exploring the place and shopping at their stores. Don’t miss the candy making and the magic show sessions! Hope Bakery had really good pies. Raspberry soda at United States Hotel bar was also yummy. Food was far from the tourist trap prices and quality we were fearing. We also did AURA (not included in this booking) which would have been a much more enjoyable experience had it been warmer but was still a wondrous spectacle despite the night chill.

It's a great zoo where you can get up close and personal with the animals. It's better than other zoos. You can buy food and the animals will come over. The whole experience takes about an hour. Remember to make an appointment in advance to interact with the koalas, which will be longer and more interesting.

Go early! The free safari bus lets us get closer to the animals and gave us some pleasant surprises. We were waylaid by giraffes and ostriches for a bit. The elephants trail is a bit of a walk so do that first! There is ample parking away from the main carpark, just follow the road signs.

A must-do for traveling with boys to Melbourne; they'll love it. Tickets are limited to three hours of playtime, and the place isn't big. Upon entering, you'll be given a random Lego figurine; if you don't like it, you can go back inside and exchange it. There's a Lego studio and a 4D movie that run at specific times, so be mindful when you go in. Otherwise, the kids can play and build Lego at will. The only minor annoyance is that the food stalls don't accept cash, only credit cards. Unfortunately, my credit card was maxed out that day, and the free WiFi inside wasn't very good; you had to walk to the door and get close to the shop to get a signal. You can't make payments without a phone signal, and I didn't bring any food with me... There aren't many types of food there, so it's best to bring some.
