_We***66The most fortunate part of this trip to the Xu Bo Museum was encountering this wonderful guided tour! Professor Bi's profound knowledge brought the weighty history of the Han Dynasty to life, making it vivid and thorough. His explanations of the museum's treasures, such as the jade burial suit and the Han jade ornaments, were particularly impressive, transporting us back to that era. I listened with rapt attention throughout, benefiting immensely. It was definitely the highlight of any museum visit, and I highly recommend it!

Anonymous userThe scenic area is very large. The shuttle bus costs an additional 20 yuan. The attractions are neither too close nor too far apart; taking the bus is wasteful, and walking is unsuitable for the elderly and children. It takes half a day. Because the signage is not obvious, there are few people on non-holidays.

雨瓣泪I've heard about the Guishan Han Tomb for a long time, and I finally got to see it this time. To be honest, if you're just looking at the scenery, it's just average. But if you're interested in the history, then it's definitely worth a visit.

M52***87The autumn colors are absolutely stunning! Right on the banks of the Baohe River, it's within walking distance of Xiaoyaojin Park and Li Hongzhang's Former Residence, and easily accessible by public transportation (bus and subway). The clear blue water and sky reflect the red maples and dawn redwoods, creating a picturesque scene! Traveling from Kaifeng Prefecture, where Bao Zheng worked, to his hometown evokes a unique feeling! Whether it's Bao Gong Lake in Kaifeng Prefecture or the Baohe River in Hefei, both feature willows swaying along the banks, their beautiful scenery further highlighting Bao Zheng's incorruptibility! (So, actually, many prominent figures in the Northern Song Dynasty have their share of gossip, such as Bao Zheng offering wine at a banquet, which Wang Anshi refused to drink…) You can buy souvenirs from the vendors; their stalls are beautifully decorated, and you can even take photos! If you have time, you can take a boat tour on the Baohe River, or climb Qingfeng Pavilion for panoramic views. A leisurely stroll along the riverbank is also very pleasant and refreshing! The restored tomb chamber can be visited, and the park also exhibits some artifacts unearthed from the Bao family tombs... It's incredibly simple! Truly, he was incorruptible!

M52***87"Gold and Tin Transport" This phrase originates from the inscription on the Zeng Bo Qi Fu bronze vessel: "Conquering the Di and Huai Yi, suppressing and harmonizing Fan Tang, the gold and tin transport route was established, encompassing the humble lands." It describes the long-distance transport routes for copper (gold) and tin from the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River to the Central Plains during the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties. The Central Plains (mainly Henan) lacked copper and tin mines. The ore for smelting bronze artifacts mainly came from the Zhongtiao Mountains in Shanxi, the Tonglushan Mountains in Hubei, and Tongling in Anhui; while the main sources of tin were the Tonggushan Mountains, Ningxiang, Wucheng, and Oceania in the south. So when we see those magnificent bronze artifacts in museums, perhaps their original ore came from Anhui… (after all, the name is Tongling). This Zeng Bo Qi Fu might even be related to the famous Marquis Yi of Zeng… (since they were both from the Zeng state). Therefore, those seemingly insignificant copper ores are precisely what gave the bronze the essence of the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties. Those large nao (a type of bronze vessel) have a distinct blend of northern and southern characteristics. And the most adorable are those curved-handle he (another type of bronze vessel)! They really look like a corgi's little tail! (And its tail!) Wei Feng, Qi Ao Looking at the bend of the Qi River, the green bamboos are luxuriant. There is a virtuous gentleman, refined and polished, dignified and majestic, bright and awe-inspiring. Such a virtuous gentleman, he can never be forgotten. Looking at the bend of the Qi River, the green bamboos are verdant. There is a virtuous gentleman, his ears adorned with jade, his cap shining like stars. So dignified and majestic! So imposing and radiant! Such a noble gentleman, I can never forget him. Look at the bend of the Qi River, the green bamboos spread like a mat. Such a noble gentleman, like gold and tin, like jade and precious stones. So generous and magnanimous, so elegant and refined. He is good at jesting, but never cruel.

M56***15The night view is beautiful. The iron flower display is spectacular. There are also various performances during the day. Staying at Sky City in the South Gate area means you'll find the Taierzhuang Battle Relics Park, Guandi Temple, and Xie Family Escort Agency nearby.

Anonymous userI finally arrived at Langya Mountain after many years of looking forward to it, just to see the Drunken Old Man's Pavilion. The scenic area can be explored on foot or via internal public transportation. The electric shuttle bus only goes as far as Langya Temple; getting to the South Heavenly Gate requires climbing many steps. If you don't want to climb the steps, you can take a bus directly to the South Heavenly Gate at the entrance and then walk down the mountain, which is much easier. The staff at the scenic area were very friendly and patient, especially the girl at the Drunken Old Man's Pavilion station – she was wonderful.

Anonymous userOf the four pavilions included in the joint ticket, Yang Zhenning's Former Residence and the Sanhe Battle Museum are relatively large, while the other two are quite small with limited exhibits. They also don't attract many visitors on weekdays.

Anonymous userWe went there by speedboat 🚤. The island isn't big, and a full circumnavigation takes about 2-3 hours. The scenery is beautiful, but for some reason, spiders are everywhere 🕷, with spider webs everywhere 🕸. If you're afraid of insects, I recommend taking the electric buggy around; otherwise, you'll be completely terrified by all the bugs...
