Scenery The weather was a bit overcast when I visited, and I think a sunny day would have been even more beautiful. However, the sheer size of Dianchi Lake was still quite breathtaking. The cable car ride was quite long, and while the views were indeed more comprehensive, it was mostly just the lake and mountains. It was a great experience with friends. 3. Value For your first time in Yunnan, taking the cable car is a great value. After arriving at Xishan, you can climb the mountain to Longmen and then descend again, and that's pretty much it. The overall experience was excellent.
