The Root Palace Buddhist Kingdom is absolutely stunning! Thousand-year-old tree roots are transformed into Buddhas and Arhats by skilled craftsmen, each with a unique and incredibly lifelike expression. Strolling through it, the Zen-inspired gardens blend seamlessly with the art of root carving. After your visit, you'll feel completely at peace. It's truly a hidden gem, both off the beaten path and breathtakingly beautiful.

Mazhandi, located next to the Quzhou Ancient City Cultural Tourism Area, is known as the best place to eat in Quzhou. There are many food stalls here, and you can find Quzhou duck heads, fried dough sticks, and other delicacies. You can rest here when you are tired from exploring the ancient city. However, most of the stalls require queuing. Quzhou people love spicy food, so be prepared. You can ask them to cook non-spicy food, but the taste will not be as good.

Jianglang Mountain, formerly known as Jinchun Mountain and Xulang Mountain, is located in the southwest of Jiangshan City, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is renowned for its "majestic grandeur and unparalleled beauty in Southeast China." Jianglang Mountain is a captivating natural and cultural mountain. As a World Natural Heritage site, it is an outstanding representative of Danxia landforms. Its iconic "Three Stones," rising 312 meters high, stand majestically in a "川" (river) shape, earning it the title of "China's First Danxia Peak." The "One Line Sky" in the mountain, 312 meters high and 298 meters long, narrows to only 3.5 meters at its narrowest point, and has been identified by 56 geological experts from East China as the "Longest One Line Sky in China." Langfeng Tianyou is a paradise for hikers, with its near-vertical iron ladders and over 3,500 stone steps. While challenging, it offers climbers a sense of triumph, allowing them to experience the exhilaration of "reaching the summit and becoming the peak." Jianglang Mountain not only boasts stunning natural scenery but also possesses a profound cultural heritage. This is the place where Xu Xiake visited three times, and many literati such as Bai Juyi and Lu You also left poems here. In addition, the scenic area where Jianglang Mountain is located is connected to the surrounding Qingyang Village and Ershibadu Ancient Town, where nature and culture complement each other.

The temperature in Quzhou was 38 degrees Celsius. We arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning. There were not many people. The mountain was covered with bamboo forests and the temperature was at least ten degrees lower than in the city. The wooden fence trail in the first half was not tiring at all. You have to climb the mountain to get to the glass plank road, which requires a little more physical strength for the elderly and children. Fortunately, there are many rest stops along the way, and the staff are friendly. The whole process was pleasant both physically and mentally. The slide was highly praised, which saved time going down the mountain. The whole journey up and down the mountain took exactly 3 hours.

Scanning the QR code to enter was very convenient! The staff at Tianji Longmen were all very welcoming! Hiking with my parents took a little over 3 hours, and the scenery was beautiful! We were a bit startled when a monkey suddenly appeared halfway up (the staff warned us about monkeys before we entered), but thankfully they were quite well-behaved and didn't steal anything!

The round trip is approximately 4 kilometers, and the drive from the entrance to the fourth checkpoint is approximately one hour. The distance between the first and second checkpoints is longer, while the distances from the second to the third, and from the third to the fourth, are relatively short.

Dachen Village originated in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403-1424). At that time, Wang Puxian, a Changshan native in Wuyuan, Huizhou, "loved the mountains surrounding it like a city, the water flowing like a belt, the lush forests, the thick soil and the sweet springs, so he moved his family here" and named it Huanshan, and then moved here. It has well-preserved Hui-style buildings, profound cultural heritage and unique natural scenery. The whole village is located in the embrace of the mountains and has the reputation of "the first ancient village in Jiangnan". The Hui-style buildings are well-preserved and have a profound cultural heritage. The Wang family lives in the village, and there are many ancient buildings and attractions. Dachen noodles are a special delicacy. Although it is called Dachen Village, 80% of the villagers in the village are surnamed Wang. Legend has it that the ancestor of the Wang family who built the village was nicknamed "Dachen". The Dachen Memorial Hall of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Northward Anti-Japanese Advance Team is located in the Dachen Ancient Village of Jiangshan City. In the exhibition hall, rich texts, pictures, real weapons and equipment, wax figures, etc. record the glorious history of the Red Army soldiers fighting bloody battles with the enemy. It depicts the support of the local people of Jiangshan for the anti-Japanese cause and their family-like help to the Red Army soldiers, and tells the great achievements of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Northward Anti-Japanese Advance Team in the bloody battle to make the southeastern half of the country red.
