Teacher Wang Hui's explanations were fantastic. The two-hour visit allowed us to explore the museum's ten most treasured treasures and learn about 800 years of Chu history. It was definitely worth the trip. At Wang Hui's recommendation, we also listened to the chime bells, which was a truly unique experience.
Tour guide Xiao Jin's explanations were incredibly detailed and interactive, and the photos he took were beautiful too. A truly worthwhile experience! Highly recommended!
Also, I was lucky enough to get a front-row seat for the chime performance!

Architectural Features
Unique Structure: The main tower stands 19.42 meters tall, with three floors and four pillars. It is constructed entirely of wood, using the mortise and tenon method, without any iron nails. Its helmet-shaped crest (resembling a general's helmet) and ruyi brackets are rare in ancient architecture.
Exquisite Craftsmanship: Four nanmu golden pillars extend through the roof, supporting the entire structure. Inside, a carved screen featuring "Yueyang Tower Inscription" (inscribed by Zhang Zhao during the Qing Dynasty) and a carved screen featuring Du Fu's poems (inscribed by Mao Zedong) hang.
I visited all three famous towers, but only this one had a paid scenic area to go upstairs. You can take photos of the other two outside the park without entering, but this one has to be seen inside. It's not worth the price of admission. If you're not obsessed with it, don't go. Just look at the beautiful Dongting Lake next to it.

We took a boat ride in the morning. The scenery along the way was beautiful and pleasant, and we could appreciate the natural scenery. The scenic area is very large and there are not many shady places, but the national treasure is worth visiting. The tour guide accompanied us throughout the whole process and explained it warmly and thoughtfully.
It was a very pleasant trip. The scenery was amazing. The tour guide Xiao He's service was particularly good. He communicated with us one day in advance. He was afraid that it would rain the next day. He didn't rest until after 11 o'clock in the evening. He reminded us to bring rain gear. Sure enough, we used it at noon the next day 😂. The itinerary was very good. The car going to the boat and returning to the boat avoided the high temperature and the crowds. Xiao He's explanation was also very good. We learned about the construction process of the Three Gorges Dam project in all aspects. The lunch box at noon was standard, and each person had one clean and hygienic. The afternoon boat tour was like walking through a landscape painting. The water level dropped when the boat was lowered at the Gezhouba No. 3 ship lock. We upgraded to the VIP on the fourth floor, where we could enjoy the air conditioning and take photos on the exclusive deck. It was an unforgettable trip.

This scenic spot is highly recommended, featuring multiple live performances of various genres. Upon entering, there are two options: a cable car and an escalator, which are both energy-saving. It's recommended to allow ample time for the visit; a full day is quite relaxing and enjoyable.
The scenic area is small and a bit commercialized. The boat ride to and from the Three Gorges offers pleasant views. The elevators inside the scenic area are a rip-off, costing 30 yuan for three small elevators. The five elevators in the Three Gorges Dam are all free. The performance square was very crowded, so I only watched from the outside platform. Longjin Creek is a great place to play in the water, refreshing and cooling. Bring your own slippers if you want to play in the water; slippers inside are 30 yuan a pair.

It's really nice to come in the off-season. You can watch all the shows clearly. The NPC interactions are also very enthusiastic. Tang City is quite large. The performances are mainly in the East and West Markets and the Vermillion Bird Gate. You can easily spend a day there.
The architecture looks impressive from a distance, but up close it lacks detail and a sense of history. It would be helpful if the performances and fees could be separated from the ticket price, as not everyone enjoys watching these shows.

Follow the cement road to the left of the "Ancient Longzhong" stone archway until you reach the scenic shuttle bus stop. To the right of the stop is a road up the mountain, the gentlest and easiest of all the uphill roads. This road leads to Tenglong Pavilion. Another road descends the mountain (on the side of Tenglong Pavilion) to Sangu Hall and Zhuge Thatched Cottage (two adjacent attractions) and then to the scenic entrance. I personally think you can skip Laolong Cave; it's quite ordinary and I might have mistaken it for a fake mountain if I hadn't noticed.
For children who love the Three Kingdoms, this is definitely worth a visit. It's an immersive experience. Although everything is a replica, you can at least see and touch the buildings, utensils, weapons, and culture of the Three Kingdoms period. There are performances along the way, so plan ahead (see the attached schedule and map). Unfortunately, we arrived too late and missed the Zhuge Crossbow and the cable car.

The scenery is beautiful. It took nearly four hours to climb up. Although it was tiring, it was all worth it when I reached the top. It was really blue sky, white clouds, strange peaks and rocks. It really felt like a view of the mountains.
We took the cable car up and then walked down. After reaching the top, we followed the tourists to the right, and soon we were descending. Looking at the map, it looked like walking to the left would lead to the main peak. The mountain was cool, and the scenery was magnificent. There was a stream near the scenic area shuttle bus station, perfect for children to play. We wanted to hike the White Horse Plank Road, but once we got down to the canyon, we saw a notice announcing its temporary closure.

It's worth the experience. I went with my children. Adults are 120cm tall and children over 1.3cm tall are half price. After boarding the boat, there are many people on the deck and limited chairs. For a better experience, I upgraded the cabin and sat at the bow. There are free snacks and drinks. Adults are 88 and children are half price. The whole journey takes one hour.
I've been on the Two Rivers Night Cruise many times. Sitting on the top of the boat, feeling the gentle river breeze, is so refreshing! The night scene on both sides of the river is dazzling and colorful, it's really beautiful! I highly recommend it!

Wuhan Happy Valley is so much fun! There are so many rides, and the roller coasters and pendulums are incredibly thrilling. The staff are incredibly attentive and will check every visitor's seat belt. It's also a great place to bring children, as the children's area is well-equipped and has a blast. The park is clean, and the lines are short. It's a fantastic value for money!

The lighting and special effects were incredible, and I was completely immersed in the music. It felt like my soul was dancing.
From the opening to the end, it was a thrilling experience, and the aftertaste was so strong I'm still savoring it! Next time there's a show, I'll be the first one to go. I have to give it a perfect score. It's a true musical extravaganza, and everyone who came will be blown away. 🎶
