The Philae Temple is located in Aswan, Egypt. It was built on Philae Island in the Nile River south of Aswan City. It is dedicated to the goddess of love Isis. The Philae Temple complex you see today is not in its original location. After the Aswan Dam was built to store water, the temples were almost completely submerged. Since 1972, the Egyptian government has built a cofferdam around the temples to drain the river water in the cofferdam, and then dismantled the temples into more than 45,000 stones and more than 100 stone columns, and moved them to Aeglica Island, 500 meters north of Philae Island, as they were, and later opened them to the world.
The Philae Temple is located on Philae Island. Because of the construction of the Aswan Dam upstream, some buildings have been moved. To get to and from the island, you must take a boat through the pier. The building is beautiful.

Almost certainly one of of the temples you will stop at if you take a guide along the Nile River. This temple is massive, and a lot of the hieroglyphics still are very easy to see. Definitely make sure to have some time when seeing it. Just like every other tourist attraction in Egypt, be sure to show your student ID for half price entrance if you are a student.
It is also called the Twin Temples because two gods are enshrined here. This is the first place where the cruise ship departing from the Nile arrives in the evening. The night view here is more beautiful. The colonnade facing the river is more well preserved, and historical materials on subjects such as medicine can be seen inside.

Edfu temple is one of the many nice temples to see while going along the Nile River. If you are going with a guide, it’s almost certain that this is one of the temples that he or she will bring you too. If you’re a student, be sure to show your student ID, just like every other tourist attraction in Egypt.
Also known as the Edfu Temple, it is the last existing magnificent temple in Egypt built entirely in accordance with the ancient Egyptian tradition. It is a temple dedicated to Horus, who has an eagle head and a human body. It is also the only well-preserved ancient temple in Egypt. This temple is also one of the must-visit temples on Egypt cruise routes. Since the Edfu Temple is far from the pier, you can take a local four-wheeled carriage to and from.

This attraction is not large and 30 minutes is enough to visit it. The biggest attractions are the 4,000-year-old quarry and the world's largest obelisk from 3,500 years ago. Walk from the Nile River to the unfinished obelisk less than 20 minutes, but the Google navigation route is wrong ❌. The place you finally walked to is a residential area. The ticket office is on the main road near the museum. You can refer to my markings on the Google map, or you can use Google Map to search the location coordinates 📍24°04’38.8”N 32°53‘39.7“E📍 This is the specific location of the ticket office. I hope it helps you. More travel information, please check my YouTube channel @ivanstrips
The quarry is surrounded by buildings. After walking up a flight of stairs to a higher place, you will see the stone tablet lying on the ground, as if it had been placed in a pit. There are grooves around it, as if they had been polished with water, and there are gaps on the stone tablet.

Learn about the development of the Nubian region from prehistoric times to the present day. At the entrance to the museum, there is a large model of the Nile Valley, marking the locations of the main temples. The museum also specifically demonstrates the changes in the Nile River and the process of relocating the affected monuments in the dam area when the Aswan Dam was built.
The Nubian Museum is a famous natural and historical museum in Aswan. It is suitable for bringing your partner and is worth experiencing for everyone. This museum is good, with a large courtyard that is well equipped. There is an area in the exhibition area for the preparation and purchase of Nubian women's handicrafts, which is quite interesting.
