As the first national park, it retains a relatively primitive environment (woods, lakes, wetlands), but it is not much developed. Just hike along the lake and slowly feel the nature. The price-performance ratio is not high, but other things are good.
The hike was about 3 kilometers long. The guide accompanied us throughout the whole process and was very patient. We saw beautiful scenery, picked wild strawberries, found many magical mushrooms, visited herders' homes, tasted yogurt, squeezed yaks' milk, and made butter tea. The children were very happy.

The whole family had a blast! The interactive caravan parade gave us a unique experience, allowing us to follow the procession, experiencing a unique scene and a dramatic performance. The food in the scenic area was very local, and we ate from street to street, enjoying local specialties like Rushan (rice scallion) and Yikuai (egg cake). It was definitely the most enjoyable day for our family in Lijiang; everyone found something they loved.
A three-generation trip off-season was truly worthwhile! The live performance of "Earthquake" moved the children to tears, a truly meaningful lesson in patriotism. The scenic area offers numerous photo spots, allowing for many heartwarming family photos. Making handmade lacquer fans was incredibly fun, with the whole family showcasing their creativity and each making one to take home as a keepsake. Overall, it's a safe and comfortable place, a must-visit for families!

The best place to get to know a local is through a museum. Yunbo Museum is right next to Guandu Ancient Town. We went in the morning and it was quite crowded. Our tour guide said it was even more crowded in the afternoon, probably because many people visit Yunbo Museum before heading to Guandu Ancient Town.
The guide was very good! He covered six historical museums in two hours and covered almost all the important cultural relics. Yunnan's historical relics are very interesting. I benefited a lot and will come again next time!

The parking lot of the scenic area is very large. After entering the scenic area, we took the children to the Volcano Museum first, and then took a sightseeing bus to climb Dakong Mountain. On the way, we could overlook the hot air balloons and paragliders. We stopped and walked all the way to the crater. We did not climb Xiaokong Mountain. Compared with Ulan Hada Volcano, the volcanic landform is not too obvious, and there are fewer volcanoes that can be climbed, but it wins in the surrounding green scenery.
The ticket includes a round trip shuttle bus. I took the shuttle bus and played with the hot air balloon. The moment the balloon rose was like a dream, so exciting. Seeing the staff sweating profusely, I felt sorry for them. However, the fee was not cheap. It cost 300 yuan for 6 seconds, which is quite expensive. The Xiaokongshan crater is slightly larger than the Dakongshan crater.

The road between the main urban area and the park is unlit early in the evening, and the road is uneven in some areas.
Adults can bring their children to play, and both adults and children will have a lot of fun. It is impossible to play here in one day. The food inside is relatively expensive, so it is best to bring some food with you. Some areas may be slightly cheaper, but generally it is more expensive than outside.
