Beacon Hill Park is Victoria’s oldest and most popular park.  It boasts an ornamental lake with a beautiful stone bridge  which is home to a vast array of wild fowl including Blue Herons that nest in the old growth trees that surround the lake.  Walk up Beacon Hill for spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains and the waterfront.  You can watch cricket being played on the cricket pitch and stroll through the many flower gardens.  If you are lucky you can also enjoy performances at the band shell.  The park is a must see for anyone visiting Victoria.

The Canadian lighthouse is also a place worth visiting close to the coastline. The park is also pretty good, with a large green area, some flowers and insects. The green background color can be seen here all year round.

Beacon Hill Park is very close to the hotel where we stayed, so we came here two or three times. The park is the oldest park in the area, with complete facilities, a lot of plants, and a center dedicated to protecting birds, which is very beautiful.

Walking through the park is so relaxing. Picnic and play in the park. The zoo is open only in summer. Beautiful gardens can be seen in spring and summer. They have toilets and toilets near the park, which is a plus point. When we passed the Bosley Pet Food Store, we bought a big bag of duck food and nuts for squirrels. It is recommended to take raincoats on rainy days.

Beacon Hill Park has a long history of Aboriginal culture. Today, it is home to birds and lush flowers and trees. Located in downtown Victoria, it is within walking distance of the Inner Harbour and many hotels.
