Lately there have been a lot of tourists here and to see the sharks it is better to come at 4-5 am to get in line, but I must admit that everything is organized at a high level! There are a lot of sharks and it is an unforgettable experience!

Oslob is located in the south of Cebu. It is famous for whale shark watching. Most one-day tours will arrange to depart from Cebu to Oslob early in the morning to watch whales, and then go to Moalboal to watch the sardine storm. After searching online, the price of going by yourself is much cheaper than joining a tour group. We will arrange it by ourselves. There are several ways to get to Oslob. Method 1: If you are departing from Cebu, you can take the yellow bus to Bato from the Southern Bus Station to the town of Tan-awan (about 4 hours). Option 2: Depart from Dumaguete, take a boat from Sibulan Pier to Liloan Pier, which takes about 40 minutes. The boat runs on time every hour. There is a special yellow car at the pier for 30P per person to the center of Oslob. Option 3: Depart from Panglao Island, take a boat directly from Panglao Pier to Oslob (you can ask the hotel front desk or travel agency, the boat tickets are sold, there are round trips and one-way tickets. One-way tickets are 800P per person). It is recommended to watch the earliest whale watching, because the staff feeds whale sharks with raw meat every day, and the water will become more and more smelly over time. The earliest batch does not smell so strong, and you don&#39;t have to queue for too long. We stayed in a homestay near the whale shark watching area. The owner of the homestay helped us line up to buy tickets early in the morning. We just had to wait by the side. The earliest one started at 6 o&#39;clock. You can choose to dive, snorkel, and watch on the boat for whale watching. The price of snorkeling is 1000P, and the price of watching on the boat is 500P. Sit on a small boat and row slowly to the middle of the sea. The staff began to feed, and the whale sharks also swam over slowly. They are all free-range here. Because they are fed at a fixed time, the whale sharks will swim over in the morning. After entering the water, you can swim with the whale sharks and get close to them. Remember to ask the staff to help take pictures.

my third time coming here, came in early and didn't get the chance to see the bird show (starts at 12nn) because we need to eat lunch outside 😆 but it's fine because I get to see the feeding show at the big aquarium and a baby penguin near the cafe area next to the souvenir shop

this is a great place to see underwater species to see and to know them. i went there with my family and we had so much fun. well recommended to visit
