Huangshan is one of China's Five Sacred Mountains, renowned for its beautiful peaks and abundant pine trees. The most famous is the Welcoming Pine, which welcomes visitors. The sunrise and sunset at Bright Summit further attract tourists, with the lucky ones able to capture these moments.
The cable car is very long and well worth the experience. For those who don't want to be too tired, you should definitely choose to take the cable car up the mountain, since there is still a long mountain path to climb after you get there by cable car.

This modern Buddhist cultural scenic area combines mountain scenery with magnificent Buddhist architecture, making it ideal for taking photos, finding tranquility, and learning about Buddhist culture. Located some distance from downtown Nanjing, the area offers a relatively peaceful atmosphere.
PLEASE take the shuttle bus to the palace up the mountain, dont climb up. we made a mistake to start on foot and went up around 2km+ bef u-turning. But! we got some nice pics though

This trip to Yangzhou completely fulfilled all my expectations of Jiangnan! The city has a slow pace of life, with concentrated attractions and a plethora of delicious foods. Whether strolling through the gardens or enjoying morning tea, you can feel the gentle and pleasant atmosphere deep within.
The Slender West Lake is graceful and gentle, with its clear waters winding around pavilions, the Twenty-Four Bridges exuding charm, and the White Pagoda reflected in the water. A gentle breeze caresses the willows, and the fragrance of lotus blossoms subtly rises. Every step reveals a poetic scene, showcasing the elegance of Jiangnan and captivating all who behold it.

Hongcun was packed with people on the weekend; I didn't expect there to be so many tourists even on weekends. But the real beauty isn't in the ancient village itself, which you pay to enter, but in the water and walkways to the south. We happened to arrive at sunset, which bathed the mountains and water in a golden glow.

The cable car to Tiantai is too expensive; even in the off-season, a round trip costs 120 yuan! The entrance fee and cable car for two people to Jiuhua Mountain usually cost close to 1000 yuan. Sigh. I visit Tiantai every year. There's an old monk I meet every year, and his first question is always, "Where are you from?" 🤪 This year I didn't see him, but I told my husband it's okay, we'll see him if we pray properly. Sure enough, he appeared right after I said that! 😜😜
I really liked Jiuhua Mountain. It truly deserves its reputation as one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains. The weather wasn't great during my visit; it was misty and foggy, so I didn't get to see most of the attractions. I plan to come back again when the weather is better and properly explore all the major sights.

Hongshan Zoo is definitely worth a visit! The animals are relaxed and at ease, and you can witness their natural behaviors. The design is incredibly thoughtful, offering a truly immersive viewing experience, and the explanations are full of respect and care for life. There are no animal shows, yet the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You could easily spend a whole day there without getting tired; it's truly a benchmark for zoos in China!
I arrived at Hongshan Zoo before 9:30 am on Sunday. I made a point of using the South Gate, which is about a six or seven-minute walk from Nanjing Railway Station. The zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, orangutans, and meerkats in the "Song of Africa" exhibit were all so cute, especially the meerkats. The one acting as a sentinel stood perfectly still, its little paws constantly digging. After exploring the South Zone, I went to the Feline Planet and Feline Enclosure. Yueyue was lounging comfortably in the sun at the highest point. There was also a serval named Niuniu posing for the camera with great style.

Some interesting attractions were cancelled, as were the nighttime attractions; the park closes at 5 PM, and this wasn't mentioned when purchasing tickets. The rides are just so-so, typical of all theme parks, nothing special. I won't be coming back.
We took the kids there over the weekend, and it was a lot of fun. Although the hotel is a bit old, it was still very clean. Our housekeeper, Ms. Wang Ying, contacted us in advance to decorate the room and prepare fruit and snacks. The kids were hungry in the evening, so each of them had a milk and biscuits – so thoughtful! Breakfast was very crowded… While the selection wasn't huge, the quality was decent; the noodles and donuts were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel; it's excellent.

Zhongshan Scenic Area is quite large. We entered from Gate 3 of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, passed Meishan Mountain and the Stone Elephant Road, then went to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Palace. After exiting, we continued walking to Meiling Palace. After visiting Meiling Palace, we took a sightseeing bus to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, and then took another bus to Linggu Temple. The scenery in the scenic area is beautiful; the maple leaves are red in autumn, and the reflections in the water are very photogenic. There were many people on Wutong Avenue, all taking pictures. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is actually quite easy to climb; the steps are relatively low, and it only takes a few minutes to reach the top. The view from the top is particularly beautiful.
Zhongshan Mountain is a geomantically auspicious place, the final resting place of many important figures in Chinese history, including Sun Quan, Zhu Yuanzhang, and Sun Yat-sen. The entire scenic area boasts a fantastic environment with a very high green coverage rate, making it highly recommended.

The guided tour package was definitely worth it; the tour guide was fantastic, contacting us a day in advance to let us know the meeting time and place for the next day. The explanations on the day of the tour were very detailed, and she also explained the nearby Imperial Edict Museum and Dian Shi Garden very thoroughly. Oh, by the way, the entire scenic area is quite large, so I recommend allowing at least half a day and wearing very comfortable shoes to prepare for a lot of walking.
It's fun, and the ancient tomb feels incredibly realistic. The location is a bit remote, which is understandable. If the tortoise-shaped seal on the souvenir item could be made a little more appealing, it would be even more desirable.

Located in the heart of the village, the third-floor platform offers panoramic views of Xidi. At sunset, the view of the entire village is truly spectacular. The lobby is elegantly laid out, and the rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The owner is warm, attentive, and humorous, making for a very pleasant experience.
The ancient village is remarkably well-preserved, with its Hui-style architecture and pastoral scenery perfectly integrated. It wasn't too crowded, making for a pleasant experience. If you have time, you can catch the evening light show, which introduces the history of Xidi.
