To be honest, the attraction surprised me a lot and exceeded my expectations. The sculptures and design styles inside are unique, full of mysterious primitive tribal atmosphere and strong artistic tension, primitive ruggedness and exaggeration, rich in ethnic elements, and it is very photogenic!
The Yelang Valley Scenic Area in Huaxi is quite nice and has local characteristics. It is a modern reproduction of an ancient story and helps people understand the legend of Yelang. Although Guiyang locals find it boring, it is worth a visit for foreign tourists to Guiyang. It is still very artistic and the various statues are made of stone and are also very exquisite.

I have heard of Gaoguo River for a long time, but I have never seen its beauty. Hiking and sightseeing, the canyon scenery is very beautiful, the most unexpected is the 108-meter Guer Falls, very shocking! The whole journey is lush with vegetation and the river water is clear. I took two sightseeing buses along the way, and the total time was about 【Scenery】two and a half hours.
Very fun and worth the price. Not as exciting as expected. Complete facilities. The overall experience is very good. It would be better if there was a shuttle bus from the train station to the scenic spot. It is difficult to get a taxi and it is also troublesome to find a taxi. Overall very good

Going to Pingtang, Guizhou to see the Tianyan is a great parent-child learning activity. Some things you have to see with your own eyes and experience in person to feel how shocking they are. You must take the shuttle bus, otherwise you can't walk on such a long mountain road by yourself, and it's too dangerous with so many cars coming and going. After leaving Tianyan, we also went to the Nan Rendong Memorial Hall. To be honest, as an adult, I was very educated. It's good to bring children to such attractions more often.
The China Sky Eye Scenic Area is very large, and the various exhibition halls there sell tickets separately. Time was tight, so I could only take a quick look. Overall, it was good, introducing astronomical knowledge, and was both popular science and interesting.

As an emerging cultural and tourism destination in northern Guizhou, the Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort in Guizhou Province offers distinct characteristics and differentiated experiences. Its core strength lies in its in-depth integration of natural landscape and intangible cultural heritage. The cascading terraces of the Wujiang Gorge and the cluster of stilt houses of northern Guizhou create a visual backdrop reminiscent of an ink painting. Live demonstrations of over ten intangible cultural heritage skills, including bamboo rafting, Miao embroidery, and plant dyeing, imbue the resort with a unique cultural depth. 12 The distinct day and night landscape design is particularly striking. During the day, visitors can roam the emerald waters on rowboats and participate in crafts like flower and grass paper making and bamboo weaving. At night, drone formations and musical water dances interweave over the terraces, creating a dreamy light and shadow effect. This is complemented by folk performances such as iron flower making and bonfire parties, creating a powerful visual impact. 23 The resort also transforms traditional folk customs, such as reed pipe parades and Nuo opera performances, into immersive experiences through themed events such as the "Wujiang Dam Festival," attracting both Chinese and international visitors. This development model, characterized by "nature as the backdrop and culture as the soul," has made Wujiang Village an important showcase for Guizhou's diverse ethnic cultures. 1 While Wujiang Village boasts remarkable cultural experiences and landscape design, its commercialized operation has also sparked some controversy. Some visitors consider the ticket price (120 yuan for adults) and additional charges (such as a 20 yuan one-way shuttle bus and a 60 yuan boat trip) to be high, especially compared to similar ancient town attractions. 45 Transportation is also a drawback. Approximately a 1.5-hour drive from downtown Zunyi, non-driving visitors must rely on high-speed rail and then taxis, and return trips at night are often expensive. 46 Furthermore, as an artificial resort, it lacks the authentic feel of indigenous life. During the day, some shops can appear deserted, and the presentation of its cultural heritage relies on deliberately orchestrated performances. 47 High summer temperatures (above 30°C) and nighttime mosquito problems also impact comfort. Dining and accommodation options are limited, leading to a peak season price premium. These factors make Wujiang Village more suitable as a short-distance leisure destination rather than a first choice for in-depth cultural exploration‌4.
About Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort: Located in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, China, Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort is a comprehensive tourist destination that blends natural beauty, ethnic culture, and modern leisure and entertainment. Its beautiful natural landscape, rich ethnic culture, and diverse leisure facilities attract numerous visitors. Highlights: Splendid Natural Scenery: The resort is nestled against the breathtaking backdrop of the Wujiang River, where mountains and water complement each other, creating a lush green landscape. Visitors can enjoy a diverse array of natural scenery, including canyons, waterfalls, and lakes, perfect for hiking, photography, and relaxation. Ethnic Cultural Experience: Home to ethnic minorities such as the Miao and Dong, the resort features a charming ethnic village where visitors can experience traditional handicrafts, savor local delicacies, and immerse themselves in the rich cultural atmosphere. Extensive Recreational Facilities: Rafting, cable cars, hot springs, and a wellness center are available, making it ideal for family outings, gatherings with friends, or simply to relax and unwind. Ecological Protection and Sustainable Development: The resort prioritizes ecological conservation and fosters a green tourism environment, allowing visitors to experience nature while also embracing environmental principles. Advantages: Convenient transportation and well-developed infrastructure Diverse travel experiences to meet the needs of diverse travelers Distinctive cultural characteristics and unique ethnic customs Suitable for leisure and wellness, as well as family trips Recommendations: Plan your itinerary in advance and schedule wisely to avoid peak crowds. Respect local ethnic culture and comply with scenic area regulations. Be safe, especially during outdoor activities. Overall Evaluation: Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort is a premium destination that blends natural beauty, ethnic culture, and leisure and entertainment. Whether you enjoy nature, cultural experiences, or relaxation, there's something for everyone here. We look forward to the resort's continued improvement in service quality, making it a key tourism destination for Guizhou and even China.

There weren't too many people when we went there. The sightseeing bus took us to the scenic area to take a boat, and then we started to cross the cave and saw a small waterfall. Then we hiked through the cave for about 40 minutes, which was worth seeing. The scenic area in the latter part was just to see a small waterfall, which was not very interesting. If we didn't play the zipline, we would have hiked to the sightseeing bus parking spot. In fact, the highlights were in the first half.
The scenery is beautiful and nice. The bamboo raft rafting is also fun, but climbing the stairs is too tiring. I bought a package ticket, but the connection between each node is not very good. The staff don't care. I can only ask and find out what the next link is and where to go. The signboards are not very clear, and it is tiring to walk.

The scenery is beautiful, but there's some traffic. Traffic jams happen because some people think they're smarter than others and skip the line, overtaking from the side lanes and blocking oncoming traffic. I've taken photos of these cars skipping the line and exposing them, hoping to foster public scrutiny and promote social progress. We can't always let those who skip the line take advantage while those with public morals suffer.
This is the location mentioned in Chairman Mao's poem "The Long March." "The Five Ridges wind like gentle waves, the Wumeng Mountains are majestic and majestic, rolling in the mud." The great man's words are imbued with revolutionary passion. Back in 1935, at a time of national crisis, a group of Red Army troops, filled with revolutionary ideals to transform the world and build a new China, began their journey in the mountains of Jiangxi and Hunan. They were then forced into the Long March by counter-revolutionary encirclement and suppression. Eighty years ago, in today's peaceful times, have become a beautiful sight before our eyes. The hardships endured by the Red Army have become the roads we now face, the natural barriers we face now, and the world has been transformed! Arriving at the Wumeng Grassland, we'll find farmhouses and hotels along the way, each with its own cattle and sheep slaughterhouse. Herds of cattle and sheep abound, leisurely grazing amidst the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and clear waters. Here, too, there are groups of horseback riders and herders grazing their cattle. Galloping on horseback through the alpine meadows was such a joy... The road winds along, filled with seas of clouds, mountains, horses, cattle, sheep, and people unfettered by their own freedom, as well as tents and RVs of all colors. There are also campsites and people trekking up the canyon. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the people taking photos and checking in admirably embellish the beautiful scenery, a true reflection of the people's yearning and pursuit for a better life! The road may be long, but the journey will eventually lead to the destination! We also rode the bus through the rolling hills, letting our eyes take in the scenery and our hearts wander freely. Someone played "To the Clouds," which was perfectly fitting! Everyone sang and sang, taking in photos and checking in on the Cloud Plank Road. Occasionally, cattle and sheep would approach, unfazed. Many people drove along the mountain roads, but some cars unfortunately got stuck, causing traffic congestion in some sections. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Just one moment, the sky was clear, then suddenly it was overcast. From time to time, clouds would blow in, and then a moment later, a steady rain would fall... Perhaps this is the beauty and magic of the Wumeng Grassland. It's said that around 4 p.m., the Tyndall effect occurs, where sunlight scatters through clouds. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Buddha's light shining brightly. Due to time constraints, we didn't see it. We continued on our journey, passing through lush green mountains and clear waters, and then walked a long, poorly maintained road before reaching the Beipanjiang Bridge, said to be the world's tallest bridge at 600 meters. This is a great victory for our country's infrastructure, and it's a testament to the fact that mountain dwellers have transformed natural barriers into accessible roads, no longer feeling overwhelmed by the sight of mountains.

This was my first time rafting, and I decided to try it after watching many videos online. The scenic area starts checking tickets and letting people in around 10:30 AM, so we arrived early. Transportation wasn't very convenient. Online guides said there were buses, but after searching around, there were plenty of buses, but none with signs saying they went to the scenic area. I had to take a taxi, which solicited passengers, and they wouldn't leave until a full busload of people was full, whether going there or not. The thrill level felt quite good for beginners, with both thrilling sections and calm waters where you could enjoy the scenery along the way. The water felt a little cold when you first got on the boat, but it wasn't cold at all once you started playing. However, halfway through the rafting, a villager pulled the boat over and asked you to take a break, saying, "Let's take a break." Overall, it was a very novel experience that opened up a new world for me. My friends and I have always considered it the most fun trip of our trip.
It's fun, but not suitable for those who like excitement. It's very gentle. After the magic cave, there is basically nothing to play. It is recommended to buy the first half of the rafting. The second half is to sit on it and freeze to death. It's so cold. Personal feeling, please don't criticize

The scenery: Half city, green mountains, half river. The city lights shimmer like the Milky Way. It's worth a visit to the Wuyang River's breeze... 📍Zhenyuan, not far from here, heading straight towards Guizhou. Half bustling 🧨, half poetic ⛰️. Experience the slow pace of life and the hustle and bustle of this thousand-year-old town.
My first impression of Zhenyuan was comfort. The Wuyang River winds its way around the city, forming a Tai Chi diagram. The old houses along the riverbank nestle against the hillside, their rustic green-tiled wooden buildings adorning the waterfront. By day, they appear quaint, but at night, when the lights come on, the entire riverbank appears adorned with a golden rim. A nighttime boat cruise, with the wind blowing and the lanterns swaying on both sides, is truly delightful. The ancient city is free to enter, which is a real bonus, allowing you to wander freely. The Qinglong Cave area is quite interesting, with temples, Taoist temples, and academies crammed into the cliffs, giving it a distinctly old feel. Walking the streets, you'll see many old courtyards with crooked paths. Locals say they were once used to attract wealth, a style of elegance. The food is also delicious. The sour and spicy fish soup is surprisingly sour and spicy, and the fried rice cakes from the roadside stalls are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Paired with a bowl of iced bayberry soup, they're incredibly delicious in the summer. However, during peak season, the crowds can be incredibly dense, making the main street unbearable. Some of the smaller shops sell similar items, seeming a bit commercialized. As for transportation, you have to change buses a few times when coming from a big city, but once you get there, you will feel it is worth it. The feeling of the mountains and rivers blending with the old city is rare in other places. In general, it is suitable for leisurely strolling, staying for a night or two, and feeling the slow pace.

Very suitable for family rafting. The first half is suitable for water fights, the second half is a bit thrilling but not dangerous, and in the end I also experienced human rafting. I really recommend it.
It's fun and suitable for rafting with kids. There was no sun when we were rafting. It was a bit cold in the first half, but it was very good in the second half. Because of the rising water, there was a section of rafting prohibited in the second half. We walked a little way ashore. The water quality was really good and very clear. It is worth coming.

The Guizhou Museum's most prominent exhibits include Miao costumes, silverware, musical instruments, and other artifacts. The sixth exhibition hall, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, fails to highlight the 24 bends along the Yunnan-Guizhou border, a lifeline for the war against Japanese aggression. Instead, it emphasizes how the great migration of education and medical care drove the development of Guiyang, Guizhou. In short, exhibition planning requires meticulous planning.
My daughter said this was the most worthwhile place in Guiyang! The guide, Xiao Li, is a graduate of Guizhou University. He quoted classics and interacted well with everyone. He also prepared many small gifts for the students who answered the questions. The two hours were very fulfilling.
