Chiang Mai has a colorful night with rich and colorful activities. I personally experienced it and recommend the following:
- Nimman Road: Often visited by local young people, it takes 10-15 minutes to get there by tuk-tuk from the old city. The most concentrated bars are in Soi 7 and Soi 9, such as the popular mirror cafe, which has a beer garden, billiards and live music. The bar consumption here is cheap, and beer is about 80 baht. There are large nightclubs such as Infinity, Warmup and Tawandang around the parking lot at the end of Soi 6. The ticket price is generally 200 baht, and beer is 100-200 baht.
- Zoe in Yellow Bar: The most popular bar in the old city. After 9 o'clock in the evening, more and more people gradually come. There is a DJ playing music and the dance floor is lively. It is a gathering place for foreigners and young people.
- North Gate Jazz Club: The oldest jazz bar in Chiang Mai, with a good atmosphere, it is very popular every night, mostly with foreign tourists, the beer is affordable, and people can experience unique live jazz.
- Bus Bar: It was converted from an old bus and is located next to the Salt and Iron Bridge. Different bands play every night, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it is suitable for chatting and gathering with friends.
- Le Hellow: Popular with tourists from all over the world, with excellent DJs, it starts to get lively around 10 pm, and there are many Europeans. There are three venues: outdoor, middle, and indoor.
Chiang Mai bars usually close at 2 am, and there are also nightclubs that open later. Young people should remember to save their passport photos on their mobile phones, as they will occasionally be asked to show them.
