Today, we were lucky enough to meet our driver and guide, Wang Kaibin. He was warm and sincere. The nine-seater car was clean and tidy, with spacious and comfortable seats. Last night, he sent us the pick-up time, precautions, and Chongqing's fun and snack guides. He also described the scenery along the way and took photos for us. On the return trip, knowing we were going to Hongya Cave, he even dropped us off nearby.
Very satisfied with the experience! The tour guide gave the instructions for every location and gave excellent service. I highly recommend this tour!

It’s a nice attraction to enjoy the city view and to cross the river to explore the other side. I recommend to take south station cart and then take a taxi and go to Tree viewing point.
To enjoy the river view on both sides, take the cable car directly from the north bank of Jiefangbei to the south bank. The south bank is Longmenhao Old Street. It is very convenient and the view from the elevator is also great. There are not many tourists recently, so it is a good place to check in.

Hongyadong, officially known as the Hongyadong Folk Customs Area, is a tourist destination that combines sightseeing, leisure, and vacation activities. Located at 88 Jialingjiang Binjiang Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, it sits on the riverfront where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet. It borders Jiefangbei, Cangbai Road, to the north and Binjiang Road to the south. Hongyadong boasts 11 stories, rises 79 meters, and covers a total area of 31,500 square meters. After liberation, Hongyadong was designated a Chongqing Municipal Cultural Relic Protection Unit and has become a major tourist attraction. In 2003, Hongyadong was officially demolished and rebuilt. In 2006, the Hongyadong Folk Customs Area was completed and opened in September of the same year. The scenic area features stilt houses, a replica of an antique commercial street, and Hongya Dicui. It also offers specialty restaurants, leisure and entertainment venues, and shops selling Ba-Yu folk crafts.
A landmark attraction, worth a visit. I've been there twice. The first time I didn't know where to go, so I climbed up and down. The second time I looked at other people's guides and took the elevator up and down, which saved a lot of effort.

The Qutang Gorge is beautiful! The boat trip was great, but Baidi Island was a bit of a filler. It was boring and newly built, just for show. After a long climb, I was speechless. The Three Gorges are truly beautiful, and the wonders of nature are always captivating! The only thing that's lost is the dam, which made the water so calm and still. It's a bit of a loss of the gorge's soul.
Personally, I think the entrance fee to the scenic spot is too high and the playability is relatively low. I suggest that friends who go there should have a tour guide to explain, otherwise it will be boring to wander around by yourself! Those who like history can go there. I am obsessed with Li Bai's poems, so I went there 🤣🤣

The weather was not good, it was cloudy and drizzling, the temperature was only 18 degrees, it was freezing. If it was sunny, it would be very beautiful, with a large meadow. I also saw foals and cattle and sheep along the way. It was cute.
The park, nestled high in the mountains, is a prime summer escape in Chongqing. While you can drive in, you'll need to park in the parking lot to access the grasslands and the popular Wave Road. You'll need to take a small train or walk. We chose to walk, which was entirely through the woods. The scenery was stunning and quiet, and the walk was easy for anyone with average energy. Overall, the price was a good value for the scenery.

The show was actually quite good, and the Huguang Guild Hall was beautiful, but I'm a bit tired of the cheaper Sichuan Opera I've seen in Chengdu. If you haven't seen it, you can definitely give it a try.
The architecture was fantastic. The structure was incredibly detailed, and the place wasn't crowded, making it a comfortable experience. I was able to take a closer look at the ancient architectural components. I'm sure I'll sketch some next time.

The Dazu Rock Carvings were first carved during the Yonghui period of the early Tang Dynasty (650-655 AD), beginning with the Jianshanzi Cliff Carvings. In the first year of the Jingfu reign of the late Tang Dynasty (892 AD), Wei Junjing, the governor of Changzhou, carved stone statues on Beishan Mountain, pioneering the art of Beishan rock carving. Subsequently, county officials, gentry, common people, and monks and nuns followed suit. During the Former Shu and Later Shu dynasties, a continuous process of Buddhist statue construction occurred, marking the first peak in the history of Dazu Rock Carving. The second peak of Dazu Rock Carving activity occurred during the Yuanfeng period of the late Northern Song Dynasty and the Shaoxing period of the early Southern Song Dynasty (1078-1173 AD). Manor owner Yan Xun and the renowned Shu monk Xi Zhou successively carved statues representing the "Three Religions" at Shizhuan Mountain, Shimen Mountain, and Nanshan Mountain.
