Last month I came to Yangjia Creek in Xiapu, Ningde. It is a picturesque place. As soon as I entered the scenic area, I was attracted by the scenery in front of me. Walking along the stream, the water is clear and the streamside is full of green water plants. Occasionally, you can see a few small fish playing in the water. The ancient road by the stream is paved with bluestone, and it seems that you can hear the echo of history when you step on it.
The most amazing thing is Rongfeng Park, where there are the northernmost ancient banyan trees in the world. One of them, the "Banyan King", is more than 800 years old, with a trunk circumference of 12.6 meters, a crown diameter of 51 meters, and a height of 30 meters. The trunk is hollow with 7 holes, which can accommodate several people. The branches and leaves of these ancient banyan trees are intertwined, forming a natural green barrier. Next to the ancient banyan tree is a maple forest. In late autumn, the red leaves are like fire, which contrasts with the emerald green of the ancient banyan tree, which is beautiful.
Take a bamboo raft down the river, the stream gently pats the raft, and the scenery on both sides unfolds like a picture scroll. I highly recommend this bamboo raft trip!!! The whole trip takes 1 hour and 40 minutes, much longer than other scenic area boat tours! You can slowly drift along the Nine Bend Stream and quietly enjoy the experience! When you come to Wuyishan, you must buy a package ticket that includes the bamboo raft trip! Moreover, there are some places along the Nine Bend Stream where you can go down to the riverbank, such as the Yunu Peak section, to observe the passing bamboo rafts from another angle and experience the perspective from the shore!
In the morning, we climbed Tianyou Peak, a place described as "a fairy mountain with spiritual herbs and drifting clouds," offering a superb view of the Nine Bend Stream. I drove to Longquan Mountain Scenic Area by self-driving navigation. I started to take the cable car at 8:30. It was very stable when I climbed up slowly. It looked very new. I felt very safe for someone who was a little afraid of heights. Then I took the scenic shuttle bus and got off at Huangmaojiandian. It was early in the morning and there were not many tourists. Now it is the off-season, so there is no need to queue up, which is very powerful. I started climbing. Today's hike was relatively easy. I like the steps here. They are very neatly paved and gentle. It took about an hour to reach the highest peak in Jiangsu and Zhejiang at about 400 meters. I walked and stopped, and the scenery was beautiful along the way. Plants such as azaleas and red bean trees are now in bloom, and many bees are collecting honey. The large tracts of Huangshan pine are more spectacular as you go up. Standing on the commanding heights, you can see all the small mountains. As far as you can see, there are rolling mountains, blue sky and white clouds. The temperature on the top of the mountain is only a dozen degrees. Don't be too cool in summer. I didn't choose to return by the same route, but walked towards the source of the Oujiang River. It was a different scenery. I passed by Fengyang Lake, which was very nice. I left the scenic area at about 2 o'clock. If there were more people, I would have played for a whole day. In short, it was worth the trip. I recommend everyone to go there once if they have the chance.
I went there in the summer. The mountain is the highest in Zhejiang Province. The children couldn't climb it and finally turned back halfway. However, the spring water in the mountain stream was clear and I filled an empty bottle with spring water to make tea. It was sweet and delicious. The environment in the mountain is still very good, with fresh air and beautiful scenery.

The music festival and sky lantern release during the National Day holiday were definitely worth the price of admission! The moment of releasing the sky lantern was truly breathtaking. My first impression was how huge it was! No one told me I needed to buy a ticket for the sightseeing bus inside the botanical garden before I went. I'm so glad I did; it was totally worth the ten yuan! If you walk, you have to climb quite a lot, and the different areas are all quite far apart. For someone from northern China, it was quite a sight to behold.

This was my husband and I's first time visiting the Tulou Scenic Area. Each Tulou has a different style and history.
