As a History student, visiting Ahsan Manzil Museum was like stepping into history. This majestic pink palace stands as a symbol of Dhaka’s rich heritage. The grand architecture, antique furniture, and historical artifacts gave me a glimpse of the Nawab era. Walking through its halls, I could feel the legacy of the past. The museum is well-maintained, and the scenic view of the Buriganga River adds to its charm. A must-visit for history lovers and students!

I heard that it is the largest park in the city, so we called an Uber from the United Hospital. It was 13 kilometers away. There was no traffic jam on the weekend (Friday) in Bangladesh. The phone showed 274TK to the park. I paid 300TK (about 24 RMB), which is much cheaper than a regular taxi. The driver was nice and could read the navigation and speak some English. Please note that it is best to prepare enough small bills before going out. Lao Meng is used to using the balance as a tip and is not used to giving change. When I got off the car and came to one of the gates, I felt that the gate was too ecological. I went in and took a look at the whole park. There were not many people. People were very relaxed and harmonious. There were basically no foreigners like us. I walked along the trails and the lakeside. There were some scenes of family leisure and couples falling in love. Although the facilities in the amusement park were not very high-end and dreamy, the family and children were very satisfied. The biggest feature of the park is ecology, environmental protection and antiquity. The whole park has few traces of human activities, and there are many tall trees. We really doubted whether such a big umbrella would break... I was thirsty and bought two bottles of frozen mineral water sold by the guy on his head for 40TK, and then took an Uber back. Fortunately, my companions knew Bengali numbers, otherwise I really didn’t know how to find the car at the main intersection (so I suggest that partners should learn Bengali numbers in advance). The return trip cost 242TK, and I gave 250TK for three mouths, so I didn’t need to change it. Haha, this is the diary, I hope it is useful to everyone.
Ramna Park is a large park and recreation area situated at the heart of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. This forested park with pond near its center is one of the most beautiful areas in Dhaka. Islamabad's diplomatic district is named Ramna as a tribute to Ramna Park

For some reason, local Bangladeshis were not allowed in, but since I was a foreigner, they said I could enter. The surrounding area was Old Dhaka, and there were a lot of people, but the traffic was the worst I've ever seen, and I was exhausted! There were no people inside, so I was able to take a break. You have to take off your shoes before entering, so black socks might be a good idea.
Baitul Mukarram, located in the heart of Dhaka, is a truly magnificent and awe-inspiring attraction that is definitely worth visiting. This grand mosque is considered to be one of the largest in South Asia, and its sheer size and intricate design are sure to leave a lasting impression on visitors. As you approach Baitul Mukarram, you'll immediately notice the impressive architecture, which features a stunning blend of traditional and modern styles. The mosque is adorned with beautiful domes, minarets, and arches, and the intricate details and artwork are truly breathtaking.Inside, the mosque is just as impressive. The main prayer hall is incredibly spacious and can accommodate thousands of worshippers at once. The floor is covered in plush carpets, and the walls are adorned with beautiful calligraphy and intricate patterns. One of the most fascinating aspects of Baitul Mukarram is its unique history. The mosque was built in the 1960s as a symbol of Bangladesh's independence from Pakistan, and it has since become a symbol of national pride and unity.Overall, I would highly recommend visiting Baitul Mukarram if you have the chance. Whether you're interested in history, architecture, or simply want to experience a truly beautiful and spiritual space, this mosque is a must-see attraction in Dhaka.

Tickets are 20tk for locals and 200tk for foreigners. It is indeed not well preserved. It is nice to take pictures when the weather is good. There is very little content, and it is not as fully developed as domestic attractions. It is impossible to understand the history of the building.
If you use three words to describe Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, it would be dirty, messy and poor. However, this has also become a characteristic of Bangladesh. The unicycles on the street are also worth experiencing, but it is not a good place to stay for a long time.
