To pay tribute to the athletes, Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area is offering free admission to all participants, allowing them to experience the geological wonders and cultural heritage of the Grand Canyon, as well as the warmth and friendliness of the people of the canyon, in addition to their competition.
Then, we entered G242 and S249. Along the way, rolling mountains and lush green trees provided a refreshing breeze, invigorating the senses. The runners sped through the verdant hills and clear streams, navigating the geological wonders at breakneck speed. Their figures were a perfect backdrop to the verdant mountains and crystal-clear creeks.

Pingshan Canyon The canyon is so deep it seems to have no ground, steep cliffs reach for the sky. A plank road soars into the clouds, mist hangs over the canyon entrance. A winding stream with rushing waterfalls, a clear lake with blue waters. Willow-leaf boats float on the ferry, passenger boats travel on the green stream. Where the canyon narrows, it truly deserves the name "One Man's Pass." November 6, 2025
Pingshan Canyon is a must-visit attraction in Enshi. The streams are crystal clear, and the canyon is serene and beautiful—a true paradise. There are two ways to enter the canyon: walking in and boat out, catering to different preferences.

Lianhuazhai Square is the core tourist area of the Suobuya Stone Forest Scenic Area. Most tour groups only visit the two sub-attractions within Lianhuazhai before stopping. Unlike independent travelers, who have more time to explore Qinglongzhai at the innermost part of the scenic area and Jiulongtan (near the visitor center) together, Lianhuazhai offers a different experience. The most photogenic spot in Lianhuazhai is undoubtedly Rhinoceros Gully, which is truly picturesque. Taking photos during the off-season when there are fewer crowds will undoubtedly result in even better photos.
The Stone Forest is dotted with over a hundred unique natural landscapes, and the scenery is beautiful. When walking through Rhinoceros Gully, only a sliver of sky can be seen through the rocks on both sides. The path is quite narrow, and you have to squeeze through sideways. Take photos along the way, and there are many strangely shaped rocks!

A Dry Tour of Enshi Tusi City – Nine-Story Hall: Feel the Pulse of the "Tujia Palace"! ☆ Nine-Story Hall, a cluster of Tujia stilted buildings, has nine stories ("nine" being the extreme number, symbolizing the authority of the Tusi). It is the largest Tusi royal palace complex in the country, and the craftsmanship of its 333 wooden pillars joined without nails is a marvel. Walking through the Tulou cluster, sunlight streams through the carved wooden windows, casting dappled shadows on the bluestone slabs; from the top observation deck, overlooking the entire city's autumn colors, the red maples and black tiles complement each other, like a richly colored oil painting.
The Nine-Hall Complex is the highlight of the scenic area. The North Gate and the Opera Stage are under renovation and closed. The Opera Stage in the Nine-Hall Complex features ethnic performances by the Tujia people. The parking lot at the South Gate is quite large and convenient.

Tenglong Cave is one of the earlier scenic spots, with rich and varied landscapes and well-developed facilities. The most recommended attraction is the large-scale song and dance performance "Yishui Lichuan," which allows you to understand the migration and changes of the Tujia people in 40 minutes and provides you with rich cultural insights.
The underground river at the entrance is quite impressive. Actually, walking through it isn't tiring, and it's mostly flat ground, which is quite user-friendly. You can buy a shuttle bus ticket if needed. The show inside is a must-see! It's absolutely fantastic!

It's definitely worth visiting. Compared to the Grand Canyon, this is the least strenuous walking tour (the scenery in Enshi really does require some walking). Take the shuttle bus from Parking Lot 1 to the scenic area entrance. Inside, there's a glass walkway. After crossing it, you walk up and down the left side of the canyon cliff, mostly downwards. There are many interesting rock formations along the way – quite a few. At the bottom of the canyon, there's green water; the weather suddenly cleared, making the water look beautiful. Then you take a boat into the cave. After exiting, you climb over 300 steps to take an elevator, which leads to the scenic area exit. The exit is different from the entrance! The shuttle bus first goes to the train station, then to Parking Lot 2, and finally to Parking Lot 1. However, I bought all the magic carpet tickets but didn't ride them in the end; I don't know how to complete the route. This whole trip takes 2.5 hours. It's relatively easy compared to other places. If you walk the whole way, it would probably take at least an hour longer.
The valleys of the Earth's Core are deep and green, their sedimentation over hundreds of millions of years captivating you. The water in the Earth's Core Valley is clear and green, like a blue gem fallen into the heart of the earth.

I went there during the May Day holiday. There were relatively more people and cars, but the scenic area was well managed and everything was in good order. The floating bridge on the car was quite safe, not as exciting as I imagined. Instead, speeding across the stream made the adults and children in the car scream constantly. The scenery was nice👍
This "dancing" canyon road, nestled amidst the emerald waters, creates a stunning landscape painting in every snap. Walking on the water, swimming within the painting itself is a truly creative experience, and with no need to backtrack, it's definitely worth the experience. The ticket price is a bit pricey, though.
