I departed Baidi City amidst colorful clouds at dawn, returning to Jiangling a thousand miles away in a single day. The cries of monkeys on both banks never ceased, yet my light boat had already passed countless mountains. (Tang Dynasty, Li Bai, "Departing Baidi City at Dawn") Baidi City is so famous, I had to go check it out. I even bumped into two Hong Kong celebrities! [laughing]
The Baidi City-Qutang Gorge Scenic Area is excellent and well worth a visit, offering both historical significance and beautiful scenery. We spent a total of 8 hours there, a truly in-depth tour, experiencing cloudy skies, hail, moderate rain, and finally, sunshine – we were so lucky! The scenic area is very well managed, and the prices are reasonable.

Standing atop the Three Gorges, a vast expanse of white mist stretched out, occasionally punctuated by slivers of sunlight revealing a red glow. The Yangtze River stretched into the distance, shrouded in a hazy mist. A sudden gust of wind, carrying hail, swept down from Baidi City. In a single day, wind, rain, fog, and hail—a truly wondrous journey.
At the summit of the Three Gorges, located on the north bank of the Qutang Gorge in Fengjie County, Chongqing, at an altitude of 1388 meters, lies Chijia Mountain, the highest point in the Qutang Gorge. Climbing to the top, one can overlook the majestic Qutang Gorge, survey the flowing Yangtze River, and fully appreciate the grandeur of "Qutang Gorge, the most magnificent place under heaven."

After a day trip to the Three Gorges, the cruise ship is very new, the sanitary environment is very good, the scenery along the way is very beautiful, but the VIP cabin is a bit low in value for money, and there is only one kind of dessert. I hope it can be more diverse.
The boat was exceptionally luxurious. We boarded at 9:00 AM on the 9th and sailed at 9:30 AM. There were very few passengers, just over 40, and we were able to sit wherever we wanted, with plenty of seating! Our tour guide, Li Xiaobai, was incredibly dedicated and provided detailed explanations of the Xiling Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Qutang Gorge. We also had fan-making workshops and performances on board. At noon, we had four kinds of boxed lunches, and the photographer took photos from a classic camera position for 20 RMB per 7-inch film, with digital copies included. Checking in cost 10 RMB. Aside from the high price, there was nothing wrong with it!
