1️⃣ Navigate to the "Ganzhou Jiangnan Songcheng Historical and Cultural Tourism Area Parking Lot", park the car, and visit in order:
[Yugutai] is located on the top of Helan Mountain near Songcheng, with a height of 17 meters. It is the commanding height of Ganzhou Ancient City, and the ancient city wall is winding under Yugutai.
[Jiang Jingguo's Former Residence] There is a historical photo exhibition. After Chiang's Former Residence, climb the ancient city wall.
[Ancient City Wall] was first built in the Jin Dynasty. The well-preserved brick city wall was built during the Northern Song Dynasty, with a total of 3,664 meters, 5 to 7 meters high and 4 to 6 meters wide. During the Qingchao period, several artillery towers were built on the city wall. Walking on the city wall, you can walk through the Bajing Terrace, North Gate Tower, Xijin Gate, Jianchun Gate and Yongjin Gate. It is now a national key cultural relic protection unit. The inscribed bricks of different eras are preserved on the city wall, which need to be carefully identified.
[Bajing Terrace] The building is 28.5 meters high. Located at the intersection of Zhangjiang River and Gongjiang River and the turning point of the ancient city wall, it was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. The current one is rebuilt in 1984 in imitation of Song Dynasty architecture. Bajing Terrace got its name because Su Shi mentioned the poem in "Qianzhou Bajingtu".
2️⃣Walk down the ancient city wall from Bajing Terrace, you can have lunch at Yongjin Tower outside the Bajing Park, and you can taste authentic Hakka dishes in Ganzhou.
3️⃣After lunch, take bus No. 5 at the gate of Yongjin Tower to Jianchun Gate (1 yuan cash coin), walk out of Jianchun Gate and you can see the ancient floating bridge.
【Ancient Floating Bridge】In the old days, there were three floating bridges on the Zhang and Gong rivers. Due to urban construction, only the ancient floating bridge at Jianchun Gate has been preserved. The bridge is made of more than 100 small boats tied side by side and covered with bridge boards. It has been used for more than 900 years. The boatmen beside the bridge sell dried fish and other souvenirs.
【Zaoer Lane】Enter the ancient city from Jianchun Gate again, and cross the road directly to Zaoer Lane. In the early Qing Dynasty, many yamen runners wearing soap-colored work clothes lived here, so the lane was called "Zaoer Lane", which became "Zaoer Lane" by the same pronunciation. Zaoer Lane retains representative buildings from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.
4️⃣ There are no suitable buses in the Jianchun Gate area of Zaoer Lane. On the return trip, you can only take an online taxi for about 7 yuan to return to the parking lot in the morning and continue the visit.
【Songcheng Laofang Street】This place has been built into a Songchao city that never sleeps, preserving many Song Dynasty city features, and with the bright lights, it reproduces the glory of the Song Dynasty. Visitors can buy souvenirs, taste coffee and tea, and experience the workshop craftsmanship here.
[Old Restaurant (Yugutai Branch)] For dinner, there are several authentic Ganzhou folk dishes, but the dishes have been improved and refined. "Blowing dustpan three-flavor fish" is a must-order special delicacy.
