The Beijing Wildlife Park is located in Daxing District. It was my first time taking my kids there, so I chose to drive. In addition to the 145 yuan adult ticket, there was also a 200 yuan vehicle fee per car [children under 1 meter are free, and children over 1 meter are charged 90 yuan]. It happened to rain in Beijing the day we went. I thought it would be cooler on rainy days, and it would be more convenient to drive with children, but we didn’t expect to be caught in a heavy downpour, and the young animals were impossible to see. What’s even worse is that the road waterproofing system of Beijing Wildlife Park was severely flooded in some places due to the large amount of water, causing the road to collapse. We were forced to wait in the car for nearly 2 hours for the park to deal with the accumulated water, so we didn’t have time to go to the walking tour area later. So I advise everyone not to go there on rainy days, and I hope that Beijing Wildlife Park can improve and improve its emergency management to avoid inconvenience to tourists.
It exceeded my expectations.
The zoo is so huge. I only saw about 50% of it from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The wild animal experience area and the train were fantastic. I got really close to the animals, and the scenery from the train was truly stunning.
I'd definitely go see a show next time I get the chance.

I went to Taiyuan Botanical Garden originally for the famous elevator, but I saw different beautiful scenery at different times. The garden is very large, with a large number of fish. Nothing surprising here, a pretty average building. The highlight is the clay sculpture museum. There's an elevator, so it's OK. I wanted to go up to the top to see the view of Daming Lake. Very disappointed, there was nothing there. It doesn't live up to its name. Perhaps the night view is more spectacular.
Finally saw Xia Yuhe. It was summer vacation, so the flow of people was relatively large. I didn't finish visiting all of them because it was quite large and the weather was hot. If you haven't ridden the Ferris wheel, you should definitely try it! It's a must-do in Tianjin. I rode it in 2017 and thought I'd give it another try with my kids this time! Unexpectedly, the Tianjin Eye's cabin has been upgraded! We originally planned to ride the Haihe River cruise on the same day, but later realized we couldn't do both if we planned to ride it after the lights were on. Because the lines for the Ferris wheel were unpredictable, we waited for half an hour and rode for another half an hour. The Tianjin Eye is quite a distance from the cruise terminal. Luckily, I was able to schedule another cruise the next day.
"Ride" or "see"? If you don't want to queue or find the ticket price high, simply taking photos with the train from a distance and along the Haihe River is equally enjoyable. It's especially beautiful at night when lit up.
Best Time: If you want to ride, try to ride on weekdays or during the day (the night view is beautiful, but the lines are the most formidable). Be sure to check weather and operating announcements in advance.

I rode four roller coasters, a bungee jump, and a giant pendulum, all with incredibly fast lines. My adrenaline was through the roof! The tickets paid off, and I did the thrills over and over again. My only regret was missing the nighttime parade and show, as the dinner party ruined the ultimate value. I recommend avoiding the back-to-school rush; the private experience is fantastic!
