The sculptures within the grottoes are exquisite and well worth a visit. Caves 1 to 20 are worth visiting as long as they're open; they're all exquisite. There's no need to visit caves 20 and beyond; there's basically nothing to see. Cave 20 is a picture postcard of the Yungang Grottoes. After taking a photo from the front, you can queue up on the platform to the left to take photos. The queue here takes about half an hour on weekdays, and it's very sunny with no shade. The whole process takes about four or five hours without rushing, but if you're quick, you can probably get out in about three hours. Arrive at the main station a little after 7:00 AM and take bus No. 3. It takes about half an hour to get outside the scenic area. There's no traffic. The visitor center offers free luggage storage and drinking water. The caves are very empty at noon on weekdays, but they tend to be crowded in the morning and afternoon when there are many tour groups. Personally, I think you don't need to take an electric car when entering. Enter the gate, pass through Lifo Avenue, cross Lingyan Temple, and you will reach the first grotto. The electric car also stops here. If you are short on time when returning, take an electric car. It costs 10 yuan one way. If you have enough time, you can walk back along the grottoes like me. Because there were few people at noon, I visited the key grottoes again. When you walk to Lingyan Temple, just walk from the side of Lingyan Temple to the gate. Be careful not to walk to the ticket gate. The exit is on the right side of the ticket gate. You must go out from the right in advance. There is a commercial street over there. Everyone knows that you must pass through here to go out of each scenic spot.
The Jin Temple, located at the foot of Xuanweng Mountain in Taiyuan, is a thousand-year-old temple built to commemorate Tang Shuyu, one of the founding princes of the Jin Dynasty. Ancient trees also form the soul of the Jin Temple. The sturdy and twisted branches of Zhou cypress and Tang locust trees silently bear witness to the passage of time. The clear and refreshing Nanlao Spring infuses the entire temple grounds with vitality.
The beauty of the Jin Temple lies in its transcendence of a single scenic spot, seamlessly blending cultural remembrance with natural landscapes. More than a cold display of cultural relics, it is a poem flowing with the warmth of history, immersing oneself in it and allowing one to feel the profound breath of Chinese civilization spanning millennia.

The location is excellent. After visiting the Dazhao Temple, you can walk to the nearby Saishang Old Street, and then go to the Xilituzhao Temple across the road. It is a little smaller than the Dazhao Temple. When traveling, the goal is to go in and take a look.
In the morning mist of Hohhot's old city, Dazhao Temple stands like an old man draped in a crimson cassock, quietly guarding the secrets of the fusion of grassland and Buddhism. Stepping through the mountain gates, the mundane world is instantly separated by the vermilion walls. The aroma of incense and butter washes away the dust of travel, like a cup of piping hot milk tea, washing away the dust of travel. The first breath of astonishment is the Silver Buddha Hall: a statue of Sakyamuni, cast from 30,000 taels of pure silver, features downcast brows. The beautiful scenery created by the volcano, the blue sky, white clouds, grasslands, and cattle and sheep is a highlight of the scenic area.

This was my first time experiencing this kind of parade-style performance, and it was quite novel.
