I was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is convenient, right next to the subway station. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and proactively upgraded my room. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, especially the authentic local snacks. It's excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose to stay here again and recommend it to my friends!
I stopped by a scenic spot and took a look. The primeval poplar forest is worth seeing. Driving by the trees, they've experienced nine thousand years, six thousand years, three thousand years, and one thousand years. The trees have endured extreme cold, heat, drought, and high salinity, yet they still stand tall. This spirit is truly worth learning from! I recommend visiting in autumn; the scenery is definitely more beautiful. The scenic area's services could be improved, such as providing guide maps and placing more trees along the roadside, especially special trees, with more markers to provide a better visitor experience.

I came here three years ago, and this is my second time. It's still free. The lake is relatively dry now, with little water, but the scenery is still beautiful. There are toilets in the parking lot and some small shops selling food. There are two horse riding fields nearby.
Barkol Lake, formerly known as Puleihai, is located 18 kilometers northwest of Barkol County, Xinjiang. It is a plateau lake with an altitude of 1,585 meters. It is surrounded by undulating mountains, lush water and grass, and rippling blue waves in the lake. It has a unique wonder of "the mirage covering the mountains". In midsummer, the lake and mountains here are extremely charming. Herders roam the lakeside, with yurts, herds of cattle and sheep, and melodious pastoral songs. It is a good place for summer tourism. Barkol Lake is formed by the confluence of natural springs around it. It is about 12 kilometers wide from east to west and about 20 kilometers long from north to south. The lake area is 112.15 square kilometers. The lake is also rich in mirabilite mines and salt fields. The lake water contains aquatic artemia (artemia). The lake was called Puleihai and Poxihai in ancient times. It was called Barkul Nur in the Yuan Dynasty. The Mongolian Sha and Barkur in the Qing Dynasty were called Barkol Lake.

The alpine grassland is very beautiful when the grass turns yellow against the blue sky in autumn. There are herds of cattle and sheep, and most importantly, there are very few people. It feels great to enjoy a large grassland alone.
Barkol Grassland is located in Hami, northeastern Xinjiang. It has eight scenic spots and historical sites, including "Snow on Tianshan Mountain", "Aocheng in the Vast Sea", "Mirror Spring in the Moonlight" and "Yuetai Liusheng". It is the second largest grassland in Xinjiang. The cattle and sheep on Barkol Grassland are fat, the grass is lush, the air is fresh and the grass is green. It is a good place to escape the heat in summer and relax in winter.

Barkol Singing Sand Mountain is a sand mountain in the territory of Barkol Kazakh Autonomous County, Xinjiang. In the desert or sand dunes, due to the influence of various climatic and geographical factors, fine sand particles mainly composed of quartz are formed. Due to wind vibration, sand sliding or mutual movement, many sand particles rotate in the airflow, and the holes on the surface cause the "diabolo" effect, which produces a buzzing sound. The Singing Sand Land is mainly desert in western China. These sand dunes are piled up into mountains, so it is also called Singing Sand Mountain.
Mingsha Mountain has been formed for more than 3,000 years, and the record of Mingsha has a long history. It is a peculiar but common natural phenomenon in the world. Due to the vibration of wind, many sand grains rotate in the airflow, and the holes on the surface cause the "diabolo" effect and produce a buzzing sound, so it is called "Mingsha".
