It is worth visiting. It is the emperor's palace, with many cultural relics and the place where historical events took place. It is full of sense of substitution. There is also the Misty Rain Tower where "My Fair Princess" was filmed, the Summer Resort Museum, etc.
As a World Cultural Heritage, the Mountain Resort is worth a visit. The ticket price is a bit expensive, but there are preferential policies for special groups such as the elderly. I booked the ticket on Ctrip. Other scenic spots do not have paper commemorative tickets to keep, but here there are special commemorative tickets that can be collected, which is quite good. You can spend most of the day strolling around slowly.

The last time I was here was as a child, over 20 years ago, and I no longer recognize the place. Bringing the kids up to the tower, we felt the grandeur of the world's first pass. Recalling the fierce battles and iron cavalry at Shanhaiguan Pass hundreds of years ago, the tranquility of today is beyond imagination.
This package is quite cost-effective. It includes almost all the tickets for the scenic spots in Shanhaiguan, and there is a car to pick you up, so you don't have to walk a lot and won't be tired.

As a frequent traveler, the only thing I recommend about Xianluo Island is the sea cable car. This suspended, non-enclosed gondola ride is incredibly thrilling, with the sea breeze caressing your face and the vast expanse of turquoise waters, making it well worth a try. However, Xianluo Island itself isn't worth exploring; it's a small area and the attractions are relatively old. The island's conch museum isn't particularly impressive, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby, making it relatively convenient.
The island is small, and the details are beautiful to be discovered. It's just crowded, so you can take a boat to get to the island faster. I didn't take any photos or videos when I got off the island. I could have found more places to take photos.

It is worthy of being called Longxing Temple. I saw five of the six treasures of the temple, each of which was amazing. After being repaired throughout the ages, what is now presented is a brand new Longxing Temple. It took two hours to walk one way and then take a look on the return trip. The total visit lasted more than three hours, but I didn’t feel tired at all. It is worth visiting and highly praised.
A light rainy day is perfect for a stroll. I admire the elderly people braving the rain. 🌝 A really nice thing about Longxing Temple is the audio guides on the official account. Each point is marked on the map, and you can click on them to get an audio guide. It's definitely not as much of a tour guide's rambling, but the explanations are still very detailed, enough to allow you to see every detail of each point. The three Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin Halls are closed for maintenance, but there's a video promotional video nearby. Next to the Zhengding Museum is the stroll.

It was truly moving, showcasing the life and achievements of Emperor Kangxi. A strong youth is a strong China. The stage visuals were incredibly polished, a perfect blend of modern and classical elements. I fully sensed the unique luxury and regal aura of the imperial family. The night sky was also a perfect backdrop, complementing the stage lighting. It was a truly wonderful experience.
The set was okay, but overall it's hard to describe. The plot was dragged out and had no originality, and the lines were repetitive. The stage effects were okay, but overall it was not very interesting. I have taken my children to see so many performances around the country, but this was the first time I fell asleep during a performance. So embarrassing.
