The autumn snow scenery of Changbai Mountain is still very beautiful. It snowed just one day, and I was lucky enough to see Tianchi Lake covered in snow the next day. This time, I chose to go up the north slope of Changbai Mountain. The scenery along the mountain road to the north was also very beautiful, with the mountain forests, roads, and snow all in one scene, like a painting. In addition to Tianchi Lake, there are waterfalls, Julong Hot Spring, Green Abyss Pool, valley forest, and you can also enjoy a hot spring egg. All of these are great.
It's definitely worth coming. Although we didn't go up to Tianchi due to the snow, the scenery down the north slope is also very beautiful. It's suitable to soak in the volcanic hot springs at night when it snows. It's so cool, very natural and comfortable.

The scenic area is excellent, with unique scenery and a large area, suitable for a family trip that can easily last a whole day. If possible, staying overnight within the scenic area will enhance the experience. A very nice scenic spot. Highly recommended.
It's much better than I thought. I recommend you to take a boat trip to Jingpo Lake. The experience is really different. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains along the way. The boat captain is very enthusiastic. The grilled fish and fish balls on the boat are delicious and cheap. After eating two skewers, I ordered another skewer of fish balls.

The scenery is pleasant, but the staff arranged by Ctrip this time are too bad. Tianchi is okay, but when checking the tickets, I found that the ticket for the 13th is half price. The rafting is even more outrageous. I booked a ticket on Ctrip, and it cost 15 yuan per person for rafting and returning to the destination (less than three kilometers) in a van that has been in use for many years. It cost 60 yuan for four people. What's more interesting is that the life jackets were so dirty that they were about to have worms. I also had to buy a disposable waterproof jacket, which was another 15 yuan. I was definitely ripped off all the way. If Ctrip continues to do this, I will never dare to book again!
My second visit to Changbai Mountain, due to its proximity, I chose to view Tianchi Lake from its west slope. I was lucky enough to see the entire lake both times. The water itself was so far away that it wasn't particularly impressive, but it was the vibrant colors of the volcanic flanks that made it stand out. Perhaps due to the mineral richness, the vegetation on the slopes was a vibrant green, a typical 555nm green. At the foot of the mountain, I even encountered a pair of affectionate chipmunks. They weren't afraid of people and were incredibly adorable.

The Hengdaohezi Siberian Tiger Park offers affordable admission and a great value for money, with plenty of tigers. The 10 yuan shuttle bus is worth the ride. Buying strips of meat to feed the tigers is fun. The park also features cute and lively tiger cubs, lions, peacocks, and other animals. It's worth bringing the kids.

I'm from southern China and had never skied before. When I arrived in Yabuli, I jumped in without hesitation. I rented clothes, shoes, and other equipment, then hired a trainer. After a bit of instruction, I basically got the hang of it, though of course, I did have some falls.
Skiing was truly enjoyable, and the air was clean and pollution-free. I just couldn't stop. Yabuli is also a famous ski resort with all the facilities you need. You can enjoy skiing to your heart's content here!
Skiing: There are many beginner, intermediate and advanced ski trails. The beginner trail is suitable for beginners. It is 500 meters long and is located by Lingzhi Lake. The alpine trail is the longest in Asia, 5 kilometers long and suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers.

The most famous rafting in Changbai Mountain is probably the Wanquan River Demon Realm Rafting. It's separate from the Demon Realm Scenic Area, so you can buy a separate ticket. However, since it's not in the town center, it's difficult to get a taxi back, so it's best to find a pick-up service. Despite the slightly inconvenient transportation, the scenery is incredible, and the autumn scenery is truly stunning. The water is also gentle, making the trip quite relaxing.
The Magic World Rafting in Changbai Mountain is definitely worth a try. It's a relaxing experience with minimal effort, and the scenery on both sides is beautiful. The 40-minute trip is quite pleasant.

For 25 yuan, you can get to the national gate and see the Nanyang Railway Station on the other side. You can also walk to the iron gate from the bridge, so it's not bad. It gets dark by 4:30 PM. You need to buy tickets through the national gate side; the other back gate doesn't sell tickets.
This is one of the places closest to North Korea. Standing by the national gate and the boundary marker, you can clearly see Namyang County in North Korea on the other side, giving you the visual impact of "straddling two countries in one step."

This hot spring was absolutely amazing! It was the best experience I'd had among all the hot springs I visited. There were many clean pools, and you could even watch a movie on a giant screen while soaking outdoors. They also offered complimentary brown sugar ginger tea indoors. I highly recommend the oden (Japanese hot spring stew); it had a wide variety and was incredibly delicious. The most noteworthy thing was the incredibly warm and attentive service from the staff. They proactively gave me a new bathrobe when it got wet, and when they saw me shivering from the cold as I entered the room, they immediately brought me a cup of brown sugar ginger tea. It was definitely an unforgettable hot spring experience.
I've been here many times and the service is heartwarming. The staff are patient and thoughtful, and clean towels are always available by the pool. The scenic area also provides a bus to pick you up and down the mountain, which saves time and effort. Families with children should not miss it. Sometimes you can see deer and rabbits in the mountains while running in the hot springs. The children have a great time. When it gets dark, you can soak in the hot springs and watch the Milky Way. The air is very good and you feel refreshed after soaking.
