This is a great museum. I went there on the second day of my trip to Xining. I was full of praise for the various displays, especially the thousand-meter-long thangka and Tibetan costume displays, which were amazing.
A museum worth visiting.
The North Building is free and features the Tibetan Medicine and Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum.
The South Building requires a ticket.
The collection is extensive, with numerous artifacts showcasing Tibetan history, culture, customs, and costumes.
The massive thangka upstairs is actually a contemporary work of art, a truly monumental masterpiece, the work of hundreds of artists. Beyond its striking appeal, it lacks much artistic value.

I personally think this is the most worthwhile activity in Shapotou. First, slide down from the desert to the Yellow River, and overlook the Yellow River Bay from a high altitude. It is very spectacular and both visually appealing and interesting. Traveling with my parents, both in their seventies, and my 11-year-old daughter, this was not our first time using Ctrip. The driver left promptly at 8:00 AM and took us to the visitor center. The price was excellent, including entrance fees for my daughter and me, the scenic bus, and round-trip bus fares. My parents only paid for the round-trip bus, which was a great deal. Since we had to return from the parking lot at 12:40 PM, and since the elderly aren't suited to extensive walking, we mainly visited the Red Summit, Silk Dew Sunset, and Nine-Colored Paintings. The timing was perfect.
Summary: It is worth a visit for those who have not seen the Danxia landform. For those who have been to or plan to go to Zhangye Danxia, you can skip this attraction. A cost-effective attraction. 30 minutes drive from the city center. The shuttle bus in the scenic area covers some core attractions, but some attractions require walking or spending extra money to take the bus. I decisively gave up because I didn't want to spend money and didn't want to be exposed to the sun. The scenery is still very beautiful, as shown in the picture.

As the most well-equipped scenic area in Qinghai Lake, it allowed me to experience the diverse scenery of the lake. Erlangjian Island felt like Hainan, even boasting views of the Salt Lake Sky Realm. Schools of 湟鱼 (Huang Yu) vying for food at the dock were incredibly captivating for the kids. Qinghai Lake is so beautiful, I'll definitely be back!

It's worth a visit, the scenery is beautiful! However, the management of the scenic area is a bit chaotic. First, the area has limited access. I waited for over an hour at the entrance before I could even get on the mountain. The visitor service center wouldn't let me use the restroom, saying there was no water. Second, the rapeseed fields in Dongwa Village were completely stripped bare by vehicles forcing their way in. There were dozens of vehicles camped out overnight in the fields, and no one was doing anything about it.
The scenery at Zhagana, the Little Switzerland, is incredible. The summer crowds were too numerous, so the overall experience was somewhat diminished. Walking at night and in the early morning was truly delightful.
We visited Fairy Pond and One-Line Sky, but I don't think those were the main attraction. The main goal was to forget everything in this secluded paradise. The summer crowds were a real shame. We entered the scenic area from Jiangdie Highway, and while traffic was a bit heavy, each viewing platform offered a unique view. Go, go again.

The most beautiful scenery is actually on the way. Sun Moon Mountain is mainly dedicated to Princess Wencheng. The view from the top is quite beautiful. The Princess Wencheng Temple was built later. Before, there were only statues and prayer flags. The yaks here are very white and clean.
