The overall experience was good. The train took five hours to go round trip, stopping at two stations, and ended with a visit to the Tuanshan Folk Houses. The evening intangible cultural heritage performance was a great experience, and you could tell the company was dedicated to the cultural tourism. The service was attentive, and the performers were very dedicated and put in a lot of effort. For a county-level intangible cultural heritage performance, it was quite good.
I highly recommend the Jianshui meter-gauge train. Tickets must be booked on Ctrip at midnight three days in advance, and it's best to book a morning train. The train stops longer at noon, allowing time for shopping, dining, and rest. The scenery along the way is stunning, especially for the elderly and children, as you don't have to walk. It's highly recommended.

The park is very large, so you absolutely must buy a shuttle bus package, or you'll be left wondering how to get there. Some children recommend buying a 10-choose-4 package, as individual rides are very expensive. Popular rides, like the Rubber Duck, require a queue. The rafting is a bit pricey, and the automatic photography service is quite expensive, with only average results. The park is lush with vegetation, and the flowers and plants are in excellent condition. The air is fresh, and it's pleasant to find a shady spot to sit and enjoy the scenery.
It is worthwhile to take a small train tour of the Taiping Lake Ecological Park in Mile. You can get off the train at each stop to take photos and enjoy the scenery. The park is very large, and I recommend the small train.

It's very unique. There are performances of climbing cliffs and picking bird's nests in the scenic area. There is an underground river running through the cave. The journey is a little over an hour, just right. Not bad! ! !
A family of three visited Jianshui and spent half a day exploring Swallow Cave.
Swallow Cave is quite a distance from Jianshui County, requiring a freeway ride. However, it's relatively convenient if you're driving.
The scenic area isn't very large, and the cave itself takes about an hour to explore. Taking the right lane (jokingly called the "elderly, weak, and disabled lane") at the fork in the road will shorten the visit. The return trip was a group boat ride out of the cave.
At the cave entrance, professional rock climbing demonstrations were held every half hour.
The scenery inside the cave was only average, not particularly impressive.

My eldest son is a train enthusiast. He traveled from Northeast China to Southwest China just to see the meter gauge train. He learned about the history of the meter gauge train and the ride was okay. He even gave me a double amount of coffee. Kaiyuan is a very comfortable small city with its own unique barbecue environment. The overall feeling of Yunnan this time is very similar to that of Japan.
I was very satisfied with the Xiaomi train's physical examination. The layout inside the train compartment is the same as the train compartment I took when I was young, clean and hygienic. It is a very good hotel, newly renovated, not equipped with new, clean and hygienic equipment, and has smart Xiaodu. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The location is good, close to Nanzheng Street, Qingnian Road, and the tourist train station, and it is a short walk away. Give a good review. I will stay here again next time I come to Kaiyuan. The train stops at 76 stations for 1 minute and at the last station, Tatara, for 15 minutes. There are also snacks and a bottle of water. The staff provided warm service, especially a male staff member who was very good at taking photos for us and told us where to take the most beautiful photos. Thanks. Give good reviews

The Lin'an Prefecture Office, a towering ancient structure, stands tall within the ancient city of Lin'an, Jianshui, drawing visitors from far and wide.
Although its former glory has faded, its quaint architecture and rich historical heritage continue to attract visitors, becoming a vital part of Jianshui's ancient city culture.
Entrance to the Lin'an Prefecture Office requires a ticket, so I only took a few photos outside.

Unexpectedly, the train only stopped at Tuanshan Station, Xianghui Bridge, and Seventeen-Arch Bridge. The conductor, after asking, suggested that even if the train didn't stop at these scenic spots, it should at least announce them. The scenery along the way was average.
This is really a way to cheat train fans. Although the speed is slow, the vehicles, lines, and locomotives all have a heavy sense of history. I just came too late to buy souvenirs. I heard that it is difficult to get a ticket during the peak season, but this route from Shiping is still relatively less crowded. You can take a taxi from Jianshui to Shiping and then take the train back to Jianshui.
