Located in Xincheng Township, Hualien County, Taiwan Province, China, the Qingshui Cliff is a series of cliffs formed by the Qingshui Mountain range and the surrounding sea. Stretching for 21 kilometers, the cliffs, composed primarily of gneiss and marble, plunge almost vertically into the Pacific Ocean, reaching a height of over 800 meters. This majestic cliff is considered the second largest in the world and is listed as one of Taiwan's Eight Wonders.
Qingshui Cliff is a cliff facing the Pacific Ocean on Qingshui Mountain, located in Hualien City. Qingshui Cliff looks magnificent and extremely steep, and below the cliff is the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It is recommended to overlook this wonder from the observation deck, as well as the Suhua Highway not far away, which is spectacular.

Whale watching is available in Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung. There are three whale watching companies in Hualien, Pacific, Whale World, and Doloman. Whale World is more commercial, while Doloman is a bit academic in nature and cooperates with the Kuroshio Ocean Cultural Foundation. There are many flights in summer, and there are actually flights in the non-peak seasons of autumn and winter. Hualien is famous for whale watching because the seabed terrain off the coast of Hualien and Taitung drops sharply, and there are relatively deep seas. The Kuroshio current passes through the eastern waters of Taiwan, and there are abundant fish in the Kuroshio, which also attracts many whales and dolphins to appear for food. The Hualien-Taitung waters are the place where the most whales and dolphins are found in Taiwan. The most common ones are sperm whales, false killer whales, patterned dolphins, and spinner dolphins. From April to October every year, it is the courtship period for dolphins. During this period, they will jump out of the sea in large numbers to perform to find a good mate. Dolphins usually appear in groups. If you are lucky, you will see dozens or hundreds of dolphins jumping on the sea surface, or even riding the waves on the bow of the ship. Once dolphins are found, whale watching ships will slowly approach them. Wild dolphins are easier to see, generally with a 95% chance, but large whales are purely a matter of luck. I have been there twice, and was lucky enough to see whales the second time, but I saw a lot of wild spinner dolphins both times.
The whole journey takes 2 hours. Whales depend on luck, but you can definitely see dolphins. The children are still very excited. The shipping company is still very formal. You can get on the ship by reporting your name and number, and there is insurance. If there is a typhoon warning, the ship will be suspended. It is recommended to sit on the first floor first, and after the staff introduces you, you can grab a seat on the bow outside, so you can see the dolphins closest.

Today, I came to Qingdao Ocean Park with my family and had a great time. The children had a great time, and the parents were also very happy. There were many kinds of animals and wonderful performances. The walrus and sea lion performances at the horizon and the whale and dolphin show at the polar pavilion were also very good. The transportation was also very enthusiastic and the service was recommended.
It is an ocean park that is very suitable for children of all ages. The amusement park has a variety of amusement facilities suitable for children of all ages. From carousels, pirate ships, bumper boats, roller coasters, Ferris wheels, etc., you can play them all with one ticket. in the end. Especially if you take the cable car up and down the mountain, you can look at the incomparable sea view in front of you from a high place. There are also many performances, including seal shows, theater performances, feeding shows, etc. You can play from early in the morning to the whole day, and there are also many resting places, so it is unlikely that you will not be able to find a seat to rest. The fountain in the middle is the favorite of children, where they can play in the water to cool off, so parents must remember to bring clothes to change! When you get tired of playing, there is also a static aquarium where you can visit and see various marine life, so that parents and children can have wonderful memories. This is the biggest benefit of the amusement park.

Qixingtan, Hualien: A Romantic Encounter with the Ocean Qixingtan is a must-see destination in Hualien! This visit to Qixingtan completely redefined my understanding of coastal beauty, and I had to share it with everyone. 🌊Unparalleled Ocean View: Upon arriving at Qixingtan, the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean immediately captivated my eyes. The water's distinct hues shifted from light blue near the shore to deep blue in the distance, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene. Strolling along the shoreline, the gentle sea breeze caressed my face, bringing with it the unique salty, moist air of the ocean. It was truly relaxing. Every time the waves crashed against the pebbles on the shore, the sound echoed with a melodious, crisp sound, as if the ocean were playing a beautiful melody. This soothing sound instantly melted away all my worries. 💎Unique Landforms: Qixingtan Beach is unlike other beaches. It's covered in smooth, round pebbles of all sizes, each in a variety of shapes and colors. They shimmer enchantingly in the sunlight, like precious gems. Carefully search along the shoreline, and you might even find a uniquely shaped stone to keep as a souvenir. These pebbles are not only a unique feature of Qixingtan Beach, but also a gift from nature, adding a unique charm to this area. 🌅Stunning Sunsets: In the evening, witnessing a sunset at Qixingtan Beach is a must. The sky is painted orange-red as the sun slowly descends below the horizon, casting its afterglow across the water, bathing the entire world in a warm golden glow. The scene is truly breathtaking, and any photo you take will be a masterpiece. Standing by the beach, gazing at the stunning scenery before you, you'll be filled with awe and admiration for nature. 🌟Qixingtan Beach is truly a place where you can truly relax and unwind. Whether you're gazing at the sea, collecting rocks, or admiring the sunset, you'll find joy and profound emotions. If you yearn for the ocean and that pure blue, don't miss Hualien's Qixingtan! I highly recommend checking it out and experiencing its unique charm! #Qixingtan #HualienTravel #Seaview #TravelCheckIn
Qixingtan (Malongayangay in Sakilaya) was originally located east of present-day Hualien Airport. Its name stems from its north-south longitudinal shape, with an L-shaped mouth at the north end and a handle at the south end, roughly resembling the Big Dipper. Crescent Bay (Cikatingan) was where the original Qixingtan residents were relocated by the Japanese. Because they considered themselves Qixingtan natives and missed Qixingtan, they named their new home Qixingtan. Today, Qixingtan is an arc-shaped bay bordering the Pacific Ocean, paved with large and small gravels. Geologically, the beach is steeply sloping, prone to rogue waves, making it one of Taiwan's ten most dangerous waters.
